Never said otherwise.What ?
The Kingdom of Heaven is at times, if not frequently , taken by violence.
Never said otherwise.Jesus did not bring expected peace, but a sword .... a sword of separation for one thing - everyone must give u their soul-life, must die to their soul-life, to have spirit-life in Jesus, true life, eternal life. They MUST BE CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST (rather violent?)
as written....
Sure they have. Several of them. Go back and re-read the posts and understand mere denial is not a cogent response for or against anything. This op is about ALLEGED failures of Arminianism.
None have actually been shown.
Proof? Yes, he went bad. That doesn't mean he was never a disciple.No. You're really reaching there. Judas never went apostate..he was never saved. Jesus called him a devil before he betrayed Him. Judas was prophetically chosen for a purpose...which was to betray Jesus.
But it doesn't say we can not choose to become unsealed. He who endures to the end will be saved.A sealed child of God is still human, they aren't suddenly sinless and perfect..
but a sealed child of God will never fall away completely they may make mistakes, errors in judgments, and sometimes sin, but not fall away.
They are held to a higher standard, and sometimes will fall, but never fail. The Bible promises God's work in us will not fail. Romans 8:29-30
I am simply (emphasizing simply) justified by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ without the works of the law and (thankfully) the complicity that is in John Calvin. But, are you working for the devil if Calvin was right about God?
That's the point. If we're essentially created to sin, and given no way out, then the creator in such a case would've created beings with no other ultimate purpose than to suffer eternally, with Him being the sole cause of their sin.Mn is born into a fallen state.....we are not sinners because we sin...we sin because we are sinners.
Except the new testament explicitly says that a way of escape is always provided. Starting from a false premise only leads to more compromise. That's the point. If we're essentially created to sin, and given no way out, then the creator in such a case would've created beings with no other ultimate purpose than to suffer eternally, with Him being the sole cause of their sin.
Unless you can show where I am wrong, or at least illogical, I have shown that his argument, that Galatians claims (my words here) that hearing by faith is the cause of receiving the Spirit. (I.e. that Reformed Theology is wrong that salvific faith is of God alone.)We can talk about Greek if you want to but you haven't really brought up any useful information to be specific with.
According to Romans 9, "...he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory..." THAT us what they are for. Hence also, btw, another reason for Reformers to continue to point out the difference between a synergistic gospel and monergism. That's the point. If we're essentially created to sin, and given no way out, then the creator in such a case would've created beings with no other ultimate purpose than to suffer eternally, with Him being the sole cause of their sin.
Ok?? Then what might obstruct that way of escape? Why would anyone merit hell then?Except the new testament explicitly says that a way of escape is always provided. Starting from that premise could only lead to more compromise.
So, great, God directly authors all of the most most atrocious acts and underhanded deceit that has ever taken place in the world so that we may see His glory. Wonderful. Makes me wonder if hell should really be any different than heaven.According to Romans 9, "...he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory..." THAT us what they are for. Hence also, btw, another reason for Reformers to continue to point out the difference between a synergistic gospel and monergism.
Hell is where we are now. The quarry of the world. When it gets quite it’s at the temple areaOk?? Then what might obstruct that way of escape? Why would anyone merit hell then?
Jesus said we would know them by their fruit. Good fruit comes a good tree. Their hearts were never made good by the Spirit in the first place. Why is it that Calvinists are so quick to call people "fakes" and "never saved to begin with"?
They can't see into people's hearts
We're not in hell yet. This is sort of a halfway house at this point, where we experience-or know-both good and evil and hopefully gain the wisdom to choose between the two when the ultimate Good comes knocking at our door.Hell is where we are now. The quarry of the world. When it gets quite it’s at the temple areaIf you read the scripture it says the angels sit around watching the burning pit. They’re the witnesses, the principalities that the church is to proclaim the Father's manifold wisdom to them. Just another day in pair-a-dice
Still the only way to not become fodder is to be raised with Him, because where we are so is He. And Vese versa. Mediatorship again. We're not in hell yet. This is sort of a halfway house at this point, where we experience-or know-both good and evil and hopefully gain the wisdom to choose between the two when the ultimate Good comes knocking at our door.
