Everything was okay when I was a kid, but when I was a teen reality hit me like a ton of bricks. Now that I'm an adult, my parents think it's okay to talk about things that terrify me or that I simply don't want to hear about nearly every day...

Sounds like there may need to be a boundaries talk since your an adult now. Especially if you are independent and have made a life of your own. The biggest change for me came after my return from basic training with the army. It was a night and day difference.

This was a rollercoaster week...
On an an interesting note, a woman at UPS asked my name. She said I look so much like a coach she had as a kid for baton. She said something about my eyes. It's the 2nd time I've been told I had a doppelganger that is an elementary school coach. The town next to us some said that and everywhere I went the kids smiled and got excited because they thought I was the coach. It was weird I think I have a common face as I've been told a few other times they know someone that looks like me.

I experience something similar with my mom when she starts talking about sex. Most of the time when she talked about sex when I was growing up, it was negative. It wasn't positive. I really hate it when she talks about it as an adult. Even if she uses proper terminology instead of slang, it bugs me.

Been feeling kind of lonely still...I rarely get to interact with anyone besides my immediate family offline. No one I used to talk with before switching to CF ever speaks to me anymore. Most of the people I've talked with on CF are either gone or inactive. I'm involved in two Discord groups but they're not very active either. And hardly anyone ever chats in my streams. To be honest, I enjoy streaming but I feel I'm not very good at it, and I don't know how to improve.
...I'm sorry if my posts are starting to get too negative again. It seems like the good mood I was in for months has gone away.
Maybe I need to do something different. I don't want to let people down.

you will be in my prayers. If I can give you advice about streaming, it does get easier the more you do it. Like anything else, it takes time and experience. When I started my YouTube channel I was so bad at it. I didn't know how to edit videos or anything, but as I continued to make videos, I learned how! I think you should keep doing it if it will help you

Have you gone in person? It's interesting. I went in college to a Russian Orthodox. I knew someone in my dorm that was. He was part of the prayer group I started (which years later quadrupled and Bible studies came about). A friend gifted me a Catholic crucifix painting and when the Russian Orthodox friend would stop by my room he kissed the feet of Jesus. It was humbling to see.

I've been to a Ukrainian Catholic Divine Liturgy (Service), which uses the same liturgy as the Orthodox Church, once. It was incredibly beautiful.
(Eastern Catholics use the same Liturgy as the Orthodox Church does, but they recognize the Pope).

It definitely does take time and experience. It's really cool that you stream too! My biggest issue is that I have trouble talking to my audience. I'm very shy and often don't know what to say, especially when no one seems to be watching.
