Been feeling kind of lonely still...I rarely get to interact with anyone besides my immediate family offline. No one I used to talk with before switching to CF ever speaks to me anymore. Most of the people I've talked with on CF are either gone or inactive. I'm involved in two Discord groups but they're not very active either. And hardly anyone ever chats in my streams. To be honest, I enjoy streaming but I feel I'm not very good at it, and I don't know how to improve.

...I'm sorry if my posts are starting to get too negative again. It seems like the good mood I was in for months has gone away. Maybe I need to do something different. I don't want to let people down.

Would you be interested in doing a pen pal on here?

Finally finished going through all my older posts in this thread. It was an emotional journey - there were things that made me smile and laugh and there were things I didn't want to see again. I saw how much I've grown over the past five to six years.

Have you gone in person? It's interesting. I went in college to a Russian Orthodox. I knew someone in my dorm that was. He was part of the prayer group I started (which years later quadrupled and Bible studies came about). A friend gifted me a Catholic crucifix painting and when the Russian Orthodox friend would stop by my room he kissed the feet of Jesus. It was humbling to see.

I have never been in person. I had never even really heard of Orthodox until a year or so ago when I was researching Catholicism, & have never met someone who is Orthodox. It's kind of a forgotten branch of Christianity here in the US, I think. There was something I got curious about it last night

I like it that you are open to learning about other branches of Christian faith. It's interesting when you get into the charts and history of the origins of different denominations. College was a good place where I met many backgrounds and had discussions. Post college it's harder since the workplace doesn't have as much variety unless you live in a city that has a good international mix.

I do not have your personal experience of course, Miss Chelsea, but I believe some others among our fellow human beings can be trusted as well.

For salvation and forgiveness such that we can have eternal life? Of course not. Only God can grant that. But still, in other matters, surely some people in your life are wanting only to help you and carry you along through dark days, even if they cannot do so perfectly.

Sometimes I wonder why Jesus’s post-Resurrection appearances didn’t convince more people: But: How easy it is to feel invisible in a crowd sometimes! I can picture him appearing in a crowd & no one noticing him but those who really knew him.

I think it's interesting how some people are given just small nuggets of truth and it's enough to inspire within them faith in Christ, and others can literally see the resurrected Christ and not believe. I think it is all about the person's heart and desire to find truth.
