If you can't get along on your own, you will be sorely disappointed. I am 49. There is so much going on in my life right now, and there is really no one there. Even the ones who are there, really are not. We truly come into this life alone, endure it in silence, and leave it with a whisper. If you think there are others who will be there, they will, but they won't. No one can endure our sorrow with us. God can, but very few know that kind of silence.

This is my third week of my women's Bible study by Zoom. It has been so encouraging and keeping me accountable like exercise was. The more I do it the more I get back into the rhythm of God's word. And the more I grow and easier it becomes. I really hope that I will get into a better rhythm and consistency. We have two more weeks and then we will start an advent study. Just wish I wasn't so tired because of that hour. After 5:00 p.m. my brain starts to kind of become mush.

On another note I had an emergency visit to the dentist. I had to do with the gum lines and popcorn. But, it hasn't stopped me from eating popcorn when I got home tonight. I have to rinse the area with some kind of antiseptic mouthwash syringe twice a day. Little by little I'm praying that my sinuses and teeth can get back to normal, and hopefully I can get back into running which I love.

I've been spending the last couple of weeks looking for a new job.

I'm going to lose the one I have because of the vaccine mandates. I was prepared for this eventuality, but the idea of packing up and moving again is not appealing.

A job is a job, and what I do for a living is of no major importance. A place to live is a place to live and no matter where I go, I am there and since I am the problem, life is going to 'look' the same to me. My only real complaint is with moving again, and that I have to leave a job I am good at (even though I don't like it), and find something else to do.

I'm getting too old to start over again every few years.

Praying for you. I pray that a better position will open in God's provision!! Such a hard time. I'm so sad that A lab technician that I really liked will no longer be working at a lab because of the mandate. She was brain dead from another vaccine and in ICU for 3 days, so for her getting the vaccine was a no-brainer that she felt the Lord was telling her not to. Such a hard time for everyone everywhere in our nation. With the short shortage of employees I hope that there will be many opportunities for you. Keep us updated here. Whether it's an interview or anything in the process.

Did a media fast over the weekend and it was refreshing. Also cooked my first turkey for my folks, and it turned out all right..

While in the grocery store I overheard a conversation between two young women and their twenties. One of them complains about having no child support, I could see her baby under 1 years old. The friends assured her that it was for the best, but as I saw her walking through the grocery store with great sadness or maybe just overwhelmed, my heart went out to her. And it made me think of how that could have been me. It's not uncommon in this area to have mothers who are 16 to 22 years old without a father.

And then I got into thinking even further about some of my recent online correspondence with some of the men and how they were lackadaisical in their correspondence. And I thought, any of those men could be the father of her baby. So sad.
Not literally, but in a roundabout way.

And I have had some difficulties but they have been wrapped in blessings. My driver side window went out on my car, I had to shift my finances and was aiming for a certain price, a guy was able to fit me in between jobs even though he was booked, my boss was okay with me taking off some time after we got some stuff done, I asked about a veteran's discount and the guy gave it to me but there's one more thing that has to be done. Then my mower deck blade fell while I was doing leaves today, I was stupid and ran over something that I shouldn't have. My stepdad came over and helped me with the deck even though he's not far off from getting knee surgery. Another Blessing is I have been finding relief from the tooth problem that I had last week and sinuses in general. Each time something gets thrown my way, I just think about the blessing that could be up ahead.

And over the weekend I have been reading an awesome book that maybe I can share in the what are you reading thread.

Sorry for the length, but a lot has been on my mind.
