I'm considering upgrading my SoundCloud account. I have some tracks that need edits and it would be easier to replace them that way, plus I'm getting sort of low on upload space.

Hi, @Saucy. Long time no see. Hopefully, life is treating you well.

Sounds like a plan. Unfortunately, I've neglected my SoundCloud account for years. It could use a refresh. Even uploading a few old songs would be a good start. They would still be newer than what I have on there.

actually have two comic book babes on my wall with some rather skimpy outfits. Now that I think about it, I probably should take those down.

Not at all, Somber. I had no intention of shaming anyone who might to any degree possess that kind of decor with my joke. I only made light of it simply because it might be expected by many that a young man with my enduring state of singleness would fill the void with things like images of sexy fictional heroines. ^-^ Just making light of the stereotype of the "lonely otaku nerd boy", is all. :) Please don't take it too seriously.

Besides, I do have the rather famous image of Yuna from Final Fantasy X in the midst of her ritual to send the recently deceased to a peaceful afterlife, as a wall scroll. I always found the cutscene in the game where this happened and the imagery beautiful and fascinating.

Won't you miss your old love letters and journals?
I think I considered it when I was doing a spiritual cleaning of my house. I prayed over what things to get rid of. There were things from Japan and pictures that I burned up. And objects. And I think that's when I considered what I was clinging to that I needed to let go of. The first set of letters was from a guy that was deployed in Afghanistan that I let go of a long time ago. The other guy I think he passed away about 5 years ago because of his alcohol. I also had said my goodbyes maybe 2 years before he passed. It was freeing to get rid of those things and it also was possibly inspired by a friend's mother-in-law that was from India that found old Love letters from college. It sent my friend spiraling into a mental anguish. The invasion of privacy and such. But thinking about it once I meet my future spouse, those love letters will not matter. I see no reason to hang on to them.

Except the two comic books babes wich I did manage to find room for on the wall.
Haha. That's definitely something you probably want to think about getting rid of if you want to introduce others into your home. But then again maybe that's the type of person that will be part of your future, someone who likes commic guys up on her walls.

Ughh, I need to slow down on the sweets or basically just abstain. I couldn't close my jeans that I could fit into during half Marathon season, that's how bad it has gotten. I've already made plans with some other co-workers in the new year, I will be bringing a veggie tray.

I know you would not dream of shaming anyone. But the comic book babes I have on my wall is something I should remove because

#1 A nice decent lady may get the wrong impression of me, if she sees my wall decor.

#2 I should remove it as part of my personal growth and progress.

One of the posters is a comic book babe bending over wearing a leotard that goes so far up her butt crack her entire rear end is exposed and the other comic book babe is also having her back to the viewer, so that poster is also rather "cheeky".

That is a good picture of Yuna. Good game too. I played through Final Fantasy VII through X and X2 and Final Fantasy XII. VII, VIII and X are my personal top 3 favorite Final Fantasy games.

Oh, sorry. I don't know why I immediately thought it was Somber who had said this when I saw the avatar and not the name. Yes, I meant to address you then, Vinter.

For me, on that note, my top three are VI, VII, and IX. ^-^

If it makes you feel any better - or less alienated among us guys, anyway - I did once possess a fairly racy scroll of Belldandy from Ah My Goddess. Was never a fan of the anime itself, but, naturally a sweet and amiable character like Belldandy, especially being a literal goddess and all, would appeal to me. ^-^ I remember it was an ethereal pose she was in, so apparently no acute sexuality was meant to be displayed, just that the clothing for women in many forms of art when depicted as heavenly beings is often sparse. ^_^

But hey, it's good that you are wanting to make these changes, considering your reasoning for doing so is sound. I encourage it, if that can mean anything to you.

Another scroll I have up is over twenty years old now, I think. This one from Final Fantasy VII. It is quite classic. I just wish it weren't missing Cid Highwind for some reason, but I just love the enthusiastic victory pose of Cait Sith on the left. ^_^
