I loved anything on Nickelodeon in the 90s. All of it. I'd watch it all day.

Gotta mention some of the live-action shows
All That
Double Dare
Keenan & Kel (tho I actually prefer Drake & Josh)
Guts
Are You Afraid of the Dark (I was always too scared of this growing up (I was a scaredy cat bat then), but have watched episodes on YouTube
Clarissa Explains It All (think I was too young for this so didn't really understand it, but have also watched episodes on YouTube)

Lol.. we're just like one year apart.. I remember loving Kennan & Kel and All That. Wasn't really into the game shows. Also liked Kablaam. Especially the segments with that caveman and alien.

Are You Afraid Of The Dark? Was too scary for me too watch too.. lol.. Also my parents didn't approve of programming like that.

Same, I didn't mention it b/c, despite how crazy crazy big it was on the network, I never actually really knew anyone who loved it to the same level I did, & many actually didn't like it.
The Dill episodes aren't actually that bad, & there's some really good ones mixed in. Doesn't compare to the originals, but the show didn't become a trainwreck till Kimmi.

I watched some of the Dill episodes as an adult and I didn't like them. By that time a lot of the original writers left and it shows.

Recess was on Toon Disney, I think. We didn't get that, so I was only able to watch Recess at grandma's house. I liked a lot of stuff on Toon Disney, but Recess was amazing

It was original an ABC (Disney owned) Saturday morning show. I first watched it on UPN I believe. I was in sixth grade.. I remember being bummed out that I didn't discover this great cartoon sooner.

I remember when it appeared on Toon Disney (2003 I believe). I was so excited.. because the show hardly ever aired on TV before that.

Overall, growing up, I'd rank it
Nickelodeon
Nickelodeon
Nickelodeon
Toon Disney
Cartoon Network
Disney

Lol.. yeah I consider myself a Nick kid too. Cartoon Network was second. Dexter's Lab and The Powerpuff girls. I grew to hate Disney for the most part.. besides a few shows like the one mentioned above and The Proud Family. I did love Even Stevens too. Probably my favorite live action kid show. Not sure if I'd make my kids watch that one or not.. lol.

I don't really watch any of those channels nowadays other than the All That reboot, & an occasional SpongeBob or Pokemon episode. Used to watch a lot of the Adult Swim block on Cartoon Network.

I don't watch them either.. a lot of modern cartoons have ugly animation.. mainly due to them using flash or whatever cheap computer programs to cut costs from traditional animation.

Finally upgraded to a 4k television set. Been using a 1080P one for the longest time. Not sure why I didn't get one earlier. I mainly watch shows on my laptop (which has a nice screen), and when I game I was afraid that most games are not quite up to 4K snuff and that 1080P would be a better experience. I was mostly wrong about that.. besides a few games like GTA 5.. most of my Ps4 games look much better in 4k.. even if they're not natively outputting at such a resolution.

Disappointed that the Youtube app on my Ps4 pro doesn't support rented 4k movies.. only goes up to 1080P.. yet if I use the Youtube app on the Tv itself it outputs 4k. I mean why? I prefer watching movies from the Ps4.. the processor is simply faster and smoother.

Dude, Kenan and Kel was and is still my jam. It's probably my favorite live-action tv show of all time. It's a classic example to me of silly humor done right without being too immature and certainly never disgusting or obscene.

I still go through that whole series once ever few years. Despite the extremely hammy acting in both this and so many other episodes, and how laughably fake his lengthy knife finger looked in one shot when he revealed it as a weapon, that one guy named Brother Septimus in the episode about a new girl to the neighborhood and an evil monk looking for a powerful stone, actually gave me the creeps when I first saw the show as a little kid. So much so that I actually had a nightmare about him being outside my house just skulking about the perimeter with the intent of finding a way in to do us all grave harm, except he was wearing a purplish red robe instead of jet black, which irrationally made him more intimidating to me. What's wrong w/ mental illnesses :cryingcat:
I've had enough experience with guys that have mental illness, that this just doesn't seem suitable for me. From post-traumatic stress syndrome from a war (he was ok before), anger that needs medication along with depression, the guy I mentioned that was obsessed and it's decades later and he still obsessed with potential to kill, and currently my family has someone that they married that she has all kinds of mental illness that is breaking down our family. I also have an aunt that had schizophrenia but she died young because she ended her life. I have friends with mental illness (sort of a best friend with bipolar from college), and that's fine but to live in a house and share a life with someone, I just don't have the capacity.

Even though someone told me they heard the word "therapy" or therapist last year during their quiet time, I don't think I'm suitable in marriage for that.

Last springs experience with an architect really helped bring this issue/dynamic out in my compatibility. I hadn't even entered a relationship and I thought I would have to see a therapist to continue. His communication became less and less, he was crying and looking at his past relationships and how he was at fault for them ending...He also seemed to have a lot of stress the week before leaving and it seemed like the only way he would communicate is if I initiated. And even less communication after our third date, he said that he withdraws when things get real. I kind of felt it could have worked out and I gave him his space, but he went into the arms of another girl that he met on vacation.

So if God has given the capacity to someone else, praise God. Just like God has given the capacity to love on and care for children and want to volunteer at church, but for me it's a struggle. I can in short increments but it's not my calling. I hope this makes sense.

There’s a retro vibe in the shot. The mood is very different from the previous image. Nostalgic even?

.....

That’s a 180 from the other picture and seems like a flashback. Different pose. I’m getting reflection...maybe sadness. What do you see?

I do see a retro vibe. Introspection perhaps? There seems to have been a shift more and more lately. A softening of sorts. Longing even?

Longing...yeah, that’s it. I couldn’t put my finger on it last night. Perhaps it was intentional? I commended on the previous one and mentioned the joy. Then it changed. Hmm.

Had no idea today was The Super Bowl. As someone not into sports that isn't too surprising.. although part of me thinks I should have at least known it was today.

Some calendars actually come with it on it. One of my calendars had it marked and that's how I realized when it was. Plus I heard it talked about the radio in the morning last week.

Semi curious to see what it will be like with all those cardboard cutouts.. Might watch some of it off and on.

Yeah.. it probably looks corny to those who didn't grow up with it.. but even watching the Nostalgia Critic cover it gave me the chills. One scene I remember was some skeleton hand coming out from under the bed. Even as an adult and I look down my bed that scene often pops up. I still don't like my legs dangling from the bed.. just in case something grabs me.. lol.

OH!:zoro:
That changes things. I believe truly that it was intentional.

If we consider the setting in light of your theory and add them together we have the answer. They’re not at home. Literally and figuratively so? Maybe that’s the message.

It takes 3 brains for this! :D Little Miss said missing. She was on the same track.

I love watching all sports & didn't realize it was the Super Bowl either until a few days ago. I've been really turned off from the NFL, but haven't watched too much sports in general lately. When they all closed down due to the pandemic, it got me doing other things. Doesn't help all my teams have been horrible lately.

In honor of the Super Bowl I'm going to watch figure skating. I've never enjoyed figure skating, but I figure the end justifies the means.

Disclaimer: For those who truly enjoy figure skating, I have no idea if it is on. My facetious declaration was meant in jest and not intended to arouse excitement in the aforementioned group.
