What's on your mind?

I guess that's one of the reasons why I enjoy watching sports. It's just a game. It's real escapism. Doesn't try to influence you. Just who can hit the ball the hardest, who's the fastest, etc.

Most of ‘Entertainment’ isn’t entertaining & is a waste of time, trying to infleunce how you think & behave. Plus it steals away from time that could be spent more productively. I guess the trick is to find wholesome entertainment but that seems few & far between.

W/ that time, I would be in a relationship. Dating, getting married, & having a family. I'd rather be doing that.

I guess tonight I will start a Christian book I've been putting off. It's about God's sovereignty.

Glad after two and a half weeks not being able to Aqua jog finally back in the pool. It was hard at first to just go. When I was sitting in my car on my cell phone in the parking lot I noticed a cute looking guy that parked next to me and looked in my window at me. I don't know if he thought I was somebody.

Also another guy at the pool that I've seen before and is a serious swimmer told me 10 pound weights when he saw my hands in the air as a joke. I'm curious now about the guy who said that. He's much older than me.

I'm not sure where to share this but back in June of 2021 a friend from high school decided to block me on social media. It was over her stance on the vaccine. A silly text and did it and interestingly at the same time a guy from high school she was friends with that is a brother in Christ, I had just become friends with at that time. He had terminal cancer.

Her friendship and being a sister in Christ, and that she did not connect with very many people, especially high School, hurt a lot! The guy that had terminal cancer we had a picnic last May right after he got the news that he was terminal. We had a nice picnic in my town and a most beautiful sunset. I was able in person to let him know about the mutual friend and what happened. He told me to give her space and that it would have to be in her time.

Another twist all of this is that she was kind of a bully when I was friends with her and Junior high School and I wanted nothing to do with her until some years later while she lived in Japan with the Air Force she had a dream about me and looked me up through classmates. I got her to get on social media back in 2009 and I started seeing Jesus post. I approached her about it and found out she got saved. We had a new connection. A couple years later she met her second husband. He became a believer. She visited with me when she was in town... Fast forward our friendship has grown through our interest in fitness and Christ. The pandemic Drew us closer and we talked on the phone while she was in Hawaii. Things got ugly with issues concerning the vaccine and her family.
She visited me in May of 2021, I'm sure there's others that wanted to visit her, but she made time for me. Her husband also thanked me for the time that I put together a Daniel fast and he was able to join. She wasn't able to keep up with it more than 24 hours. But that was an incredible moment to hear from him since he came to Christ through her and has tried to adapt as the leader in the relationship with Christ in humility. They are a very good looking couple that does CrossFit but some of that change during the pandemic.

Without making this too much longer, I thought there would be a day that the friendship might come back around. As time went on I thought it's possible it might never happen or it would be a long time off. Today she sent me a request as a friend on social media. We have another mutual friend that had lived in Japan she introduced me to that I spent time with last May walking. And by the way the friend with cancer passed about a month and a half ago. Many high school friends put together benefits and things to help with his medical bills. He also was someone I never imagined I would become friends with because he was arrogant and inconsiderate when we had talked at the 25th reunion.

Prayers are appreciated as I'm not sure what her reasons are and what the conversation will be like as the topic of the vaccine is too stressful for me to talk about.

But I almost lost two other Christian friends last year that were opposite opinion of her.
