I think we are still a bit all over the shop at the moment.I'm curious. What's the latest update as to whether churches in Australia will have to insist on vaccine passports needed to be seen at the door? I recall you talking about the possibility of this prior.
The news from Christ Church St Lawrence contains this "As previously advised, weekday services will be open to congregations from Monday 18 October. Evidence of full vaccination will be required at this stage."
Archbishop Kanishka Raffel has said that we can't turn people back, so he wishes to delay till we do not have to turn people away.
The new Premier of NSW is likely to open up more quickly, and as a practicing Catholic, he might be expected to take the pressure off compliance earlier than others. We are likely to see more announcements this week, as we have hit 80% double vaccination in NSW today. The 1st of November has been listed as the date for the re-opening of regional travel, and may well include other liberties.
Australia may have come late in the vaccination stakes, but we have run a good race.
