Why not wait for all of the facts until we start trying to decide how to prevent another one?
Or... you know, at least until we know how and why.![]()
Well, you know.. Practice makes perfect, I guess. So all you can do is sharpen the response process, which the USA is already very accomplished at when it comes to active shooters
Woah woah, hold on, we don't know how yet.The most salient fact you already know...that one man was able to arm himself like a small army, with nary a question directed his way and no barrier to him doing so.
This will happen again...and again and again, until you folk do something about your crazed gun culture.
But that isn't going to happen, is it......so kindly just keep your madness on your side of the Pacific...
Woah woah, hold on, we don't know how yet.
We don't have police reports, half a dozens videos, and eyewitness testimony showing how he killed people.
We just don't know how this happened. Was he a wizard? Can he throw lead projectiles with his mind?
Was she lying? I bet people wouldn't be able to hear it. If these guns had silencers.you all do realize that a day before this Congress were deciding if they wanted to Legalize Silencers.
Massacre blunts momentum of gun silencer bill
and as much as many of you may hate Hillary she is right on this matter
Hillary Clinton on Twitter
"The crowd fled at the sound of gunshots. Imagine the deaths if the shooter had a silencer, which the NRA wants to make easier to get."
"Our grief isn't enough. We can and must put politics aside, stand up to the NRA, and work together to try to stop this from happening again."
I know it would never happen in America. But doing what I said. Would be the only way to stop it.Then I'll take what you said as being meant as sarcastic:
you serious?...why would the NRA want to legalize a silencer - surely there's evil intent using a silencer....what positive motive could you have for using oneWas she lying? I bet people wouldn't be able to hear it. If these guns had silencers.
There's no way to stop the evil - remember as it is written the evil is growing, increasing, every day until Jesus returns.I know it would never happen in America. But doing what I said. Would be the only way to stop it.

THat's not a "positive motive" though.Unfortunately, it's the same reasoning behind why one man would want to amass a small arsenal of automatic weapons...
'Because I can...'
THat's not a "positive motive" though.

They're really desperate to mischarecterise Australian gun laws. Otherwise who knows? They might have to acknowledge that sensible gun legislation works! That didn't happen in Australia.
I'm trying to imagine an alternative that would be worse. Nothing comes to mind. Help me out?So, what if we did all those things and it happened again in another 6 months...what then?
Consider the possibilities if they took all the guns? Would something worse than what we have now happen? Doesn't take much of an imagination to know the alternative could be a lot worse.
Keep tweaking it best we can, know stuff happens, and we shouldn't risk much worse stuff in order to try to stop bad stuff...out of the frying pan, into the fire.
I guess it's a balancing act that should be taken very seriously.
