Or Orlando? Or San Bernardino? Or Columbine? Or Newtown?

Political action? Legal action? Social action? Personal action?

Or should we even bother? Do we simply resign ourselves to going through these motions again in another 6 months or so? Or are we counting on these kinds of incidents to just go away?

Thoughts?

Most important: Pray. Not many are willing to pray, nor to obey, nor to do what is right...... but praying is still the most important. YHWH might step in and direct people's steps, leaders and others, as He pleases of course.....

I lost hope we'd ever address this problem after kids were shot and killed in their classroom in Newtown.

Much like the women who have to live with rape as "the new normal" in Europe, I guess we just have to live with mass shootings here in America.

Why not wait for all of the facts until we start trying to decide how to prevent another one?

Guys, remember we aren't allowed to talk about this until after we've forgotten about it.

Or... you know, at least until we know how and why.:doh1:

Change avatar pictures, post sad comics on twitter, have a futile debate about gun regulations, focus on the fact that some of the victims helped other victims and celebrate them, get distracted by the next catastrophe.

I don't think Peachy wanted Europe's plan for every terrorist attack.

Has anything ever been done in a past mass shooting after all the facts were known?

You can't prevent it, you can only reduce the chances of it happening. Which in this case, a better public health system or more specifically mental health system.
"dreamer" fits, I'd observe.

Increase the money and power and services of the socalled government and medical systems has greatly increased the problems and atronomically increased the costs by trillions of dollars over the last 75 years.

Nope, never. That's why our laws concerning firearms and other weapons haven't changed in over 200 years. /s

Pretty sure we know how, and that's the thing certain folks never want to talk about.

Did you use that as an insult?
I don't even know what an insult is. (It is not in my vocabulary, at all, in my life)

"Dreaming" for a solution can be either good or bad, useful or denial, helpful or harmful, depending on the motive, goals, and results.

We need endlessly to argue over the definition of "assault weapon". And make sure to attack anyone raising the issue of gun control after a tragedy like this for "making it political too soon".

It sure has been too soon for a really long time.
