The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

I *was* allergic to:
Dairy (cow and goat -- sheep's milk cheese was ok)
Corn
Crab/some fish
Omega 3 fatty acids
some molds
wild garlic and wild onion
stevia
Adhesive on bandaids and cloth tape (corn)
Most cleaning agents (corn)
perfumes (except essential oils - corn)
Glade plug ins (corn)
Lots of booze (corn -- doesn't matter I don't drink anyway)
All pills (corn)
Hidden corn as in "100%" maple syrup, canola oil, tap and some bottled water, all coffee, black tea, flour except King Arthur brand, yeast except one Red Star type
Meats and veggies soaked in citric acid made from corn
xanthan gum (oh...yeah that's corn)
Plastic grocery bags (corn)
most Toilet paper (corn)
And lol the list goes on.
I seem to be over all of these allergies since discovering an Australian treatment that's being introduced to the states. I'm quite amazed at the efficacy and simplicity, not to mention how much cheaper it is to just remove the allergies instead of paying through the nose to deal with the reactions and never get over the allergies.
Unfortunately you can't use the treatment if you've gotten to the point where you're anaphylactic.
Oh, I'm still allergic to licorice root, but really, compared to this other stuff, I don't think I particularly care about that one. I'm still allergic to most antibiotics too. I might get around to getting treated for that eventually.
