The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

Corn
Soy
Wheat (not gluten, just wheat)
chicken
pork
bell or red peppers That's a new one on me
latex
oddities:
non-latex condoms (I am married so I am allowed to try this out)
and unfortunately: My husband. And allergy meds give me seizures. So nookie happens very very rarely... and we haven't even been married three years!
Sorry if the last bit was TMI.
I wonder if they make sheepskin condoms anymore. Oh BTW Niena, you don't need condoms for birth control. All you need to do is do a handstand for 5 minutes and you wont get pregnant. It's true, i heard the Octomom say that in an interview.

Well, medically speaking, if you were allergic to him, you would be allergic to yourself also. I'm assuming this isn't the case? Does he eat any of the things you are allergic to? That may contribute to you having an allergic reaction since (we're all mature here guys) the genitalia skin cells are larger and have larger spaces in between them. So anything flowing in his blood is now inside your body, and can be absorbed by you into your blood. This is why diseases can be transmitted via sexual intercourse and not by simply holding hands or kissing, etc. It is just because the skin everywhere else in your body has more layers, cells are smaller meaning less space for things to creep inside. Just my $0.02, talk to your doctor. Or try an experiment, don't let him eat anything that you're allergic to for about a week. Longer if you can, and then light some candles and have a nice night. See what happens, but do this at your own risk. I don't want to be responsible for you going into anaphylactic shock or anything like that![]()
I'm allergic to:
Second Hand Smoke
Hay Fever
Cats
Some Detergents
Rude People
Aaaachoooooooooooooo!
Lobster. I got a migraine
And other than that... seeds in the summer season (i.e. Hayfever)
And shrimps I think...
In fact, i guess it's shellfish![]()
