The sin is strong with this one. People take note...it's responses like this that indicate an unregenerate heart. People who are regenerated don't sweep blatant sin under the "all sin is sin" rug. Actual Christians are crucified to all things and CANNOT go on sinning! Are you fornicating? Get saved! Cussing? Get saved! Boozing? Get saved! Porn? Get saved! Love money and material things? Get saved! Love TV and secular entertainment? Get saved! Come out of Egypt and forsake the passing pleasures of sin! Be ye holy!

Adam and Eve were lousy at covering up. As are you.

No scripture for sermon support? That's a shame.
Let me help:

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 5:12
Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned—

Isaiah 59:2
But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear.

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

1 Corinthians 10:13

Colossians 3:5
Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

Ecclesiastes 7:20
Surely there is not a righteous man on earth who does good and never sins.

Hebrews 10:12
But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God,

2 Corinthians 11:3
But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ.

John 3:16-17

My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

To truly believe in Jesus (God) one has to also believe in His teachings, too. Otherwise we are believing in a Jesus of our own imagining that is not in Scripture. Jesus's teachings are a part of WHO He is. Jesus said if you love me, keep my commandments. Are you saying that people who do not love Jesus will be in His Kingdom?

Jesus taught us that sin can separate us from God (See Matthew 5:28-30, Matthew 6:15, Matthew 12:37, Matthew 25:31-46, Luke 9:62).

Paul says if any man does not consent (does not agree) with the words of Jesus Christ and the doctrine according to godliness, he is proud and he knows nothing (1 Timothy 6:3-4).

James 4:6 says God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble.
^ Here is a man who entered by the door to the sheep pen. Unfortunately people who love sin listen for other voices.

Look at those poor scriptures taken so far away from their proper home.

Still no supporting verses?
And no, this response is typical for me on any topic.
Do your sermon research like preachers are supposed to.
Each verse has a link to where you can see the verse in context.

I have a better response to this:
Yes, it is true that A & E could not cover their sins.
No man can cover their sins themselves.
ONLY GOD CAN.

I do struggle with sin and pride. But I have the blood covering. But there is a big difference between sin that pops up in us...of which we hate and repent...and sin that is blatant and wilful and unto spiritual death. You cannot fornicate. You cannot be a drunkard! You cannot love the world. You cannot continue your porn self abuse sessions. You cannot continue spending hours playing useless video games. I say CANNOT because it is IMPOSSIBLE! It is impossible for one filled with the Holy Spirit to go on sinning. Period!

Christian Perfection is obtainable in this life. Total Sanctification.

Well, then we agree.
Although i think God allows more room for error than you seem to think.
I guess that's what put us in opposition here just now.
But Christian Perfection is obtainable in this life.
I doubt that.
But maybe i should only speak for myself.
I'm not able to obtain this.
I have nothing to bring to the table, unfortunately.
God would have to make that happen to me.
So far He has not.
But that's okay.
It probably makes / keeps me humble.

I am not saying that a believer is not given time to repent. But there are times that this was not so (like with Ananais and Sapphira).
They were given time to repent. People are always given time. Might not be much but one only needs minutes.
This does not mean they are saved while they are abiding in that grievous sin. It's why they need to repent. So as to be forgiven (saved) again. Otherwise there is no purpose or reason to repent.
Judgement is after death not before. It looks like you prematurely judge people.
1 John 1:9 says if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.
Don’t say “or else you’re not saved anymore.”

Was King David Saved While He Committed His Sins of Adultery and Murder?

Please vote in the poll and give your best answer with Scripture.

May the Lord's goodness be upon you.
How did David get saved to start with?

Did he pray at the Tabernacle to accept YHVH into his heart as his personal Lord and Savior?

You need to answer this question, first.

And if he did, don't you believe in OSAS?

Those who know the future are much better off than the rest of us.
Who among us knows that?
Those without faith are not saved in spite of the work Jesus did for all.

Mark 10:52
And Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him on the way.

Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Believing means more than mentally agreeing.

God exists outside of time, so there is no "timeline" for being saved
in God's view.

Acts 1:7
He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority.
There are a number of answers to this.
First, David got out of the will of God which is dangerous for any believer. When we do this it opens the door to Satan into our lives to tempt us in ways he couldn’t otherwise. The Bible gives us a clue that this was the case when it says David was at home at the times Kings are out at war. His army was out fighting, he was in the palace enjoying life..

Then there is the fact that he truly repented. At the word of a prophet no less. Most kings would have just murdered the prophet.

Then there is issue of Kings facing a lot more temptation than the normal folks. God knows this. Coupled with the fact that because of the darkness of that age. God tolerated at lot more sin than he would today in nations that have Bibles in most homes and the Gospel being preached in power for centuries. For instance God tolerated poligamy amoung his saints back then. He does not tolerate it today in nations described like above.

The question of David’s salvation does not rest on silly notion of OSAS doctrines and such.

Yes, David was. Here is the first Scripture that shows that David was saved, and this took place long before David's adultery and conspiracy to commit murder.

1 Samuel 16:13 (NKJV)
Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah.

Then when you look at David's life and all that took place between his anointing and when David committed these sins, it is obvious God was with David and David was in God.

Um, everyone including the prostitute knew it WAS SIN. It wasn’t a matter of someone merely thinking it might be.
