It starts at sundown Friday and ends at sundown Saturday.

You cannot kindle a fire of any kind. That would include starting an automobile engine, which moves via an internal combustion engine.

You cannot travel over a mile from your house.

You cannot pick up a stick that falls in your yard on that day, because it is considered work.

Are you sure you are keeping the Sinai Sabbath?

In Galatians chapter 4 Paul calls the Sinai Covenant the covenant of "bondage" and compels the Galatian believers to "cast out" the Sinai Covenant of bondage. He also says our inheritance does not come through the Sinai Covenant.

Gal 4:24 which things are symbolic. For these are the two covenants: the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to bondage, which is Hagar—

Gal 4:25 for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children—

Gal 4:30 Nevertheless what does the Scripture say? "CAST OUT THE BONDWOMAN AND HER SON, FOR THE SON OF THE BONDWOMAN SHALL NOT BE HEIR WITH THE SON OF THE FREEWOMAN."

Gal 4:31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman but of the free.

In the passage below Paul calls the Sinai Covenant "the ministry of death written on stones".
Why are you trying to keep the sign of the ministry of death?

2Co 3:6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

2Co 3:7 But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away,
2Co 3:8 how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious?

We are supposed to be ministers of the New Covenant, based on Paul's words above.

The following would be very helpful to you and those you go to church with.
