When I was younger, I was working at a grain elevator and had to change out a belt on a grain conveyor 70' in the air. It was a little breezy and when I got to the top, the wind was moving the whole thing back and forth a few inches. Did not like...

Oooh yikes. :\

Have you (or anyone else!) seen those buildings that have little cubicles that are attached to the side of the building and are completely of glass where you step out in them and you can see all around?

I've seen those... No thank you! Same with the skywalk going out over the Grand Canyon. It was bad enough just walking to the edge and looking over; major pucker factor...

:amen:

Would not want to do that. Also you know those really long tall bridges? Like the one over in China that you can walk over and I think it's glass too. Yikes.

I came across these trucks and thought they were pretty awesome:

Does anyone enjoy going to car shows? Bike shows? Air shows? :)

You may have missed my post earlier but, I wrote that I host multiple car shows each year. Have also hosted a half dozen church car shows at different churches for the Lords Glory. As Christians, we are called to outreach to our communities and hosting or helping a car show at church is a great way to get people/family on a church campus that would not normally be there. It can be a lot of fun and helps to get to know people of our community better and to serve them.
Here is the draft for the event flier I am working on for my Sept show. It is a fairly simple/easy show to do compared to my 3 days of shows, part swaps and drag racing scheduled for November in Phoenix.

I used to own a truck nearly identical to the one you posted. It was my grandpa's `66 F100 that he bought new. I ended up selling it in Iowa when married and broke. I regret that decision all the time... Would love to track it down and buy it back.

I generally don't go to car shows as it would be like an alcoholic going to a bar; too tempting and painful.

Hi @Applekrate! I think I did miss your post, I'm sorry! That's really cool that you host car shows. I think that is a wonderful idea and a great way to get the community together. I know I love going to car shows because even if I don't know a lot about cars everyone still talks to one another and if I have my camera they are usually all wanting their cars/trucks/etc picture taken. lol

That sounds like a really fun event! If I lived closer I would definitely go. Chili contest sounds yummy, haha. Lots of fun things to do too. Very awesome. :D

Is that your truck in the photo? I mean your actual one, not just the type.

I'm so sorry. :( I know that must be hard. I guess you don't have any kind of VIN or anything that would help you locate it, or maybe the people you sold it to. With social media nowadays though who knows what you would be able to find if you got people to share it. That would be really cool if you ever did find it some day.:)

I love riding camels. Every time I go to the store, I get a ton of looks, but it drives the women crazy, so I keep it.
You nut! ^_^
I would like to travel on this..........

I was looking online for various vehicles a wheelchair user could own and I came across a few of these that were pretty awesome. :D
