I prefer driving....

Unless it is a maglev train, or a "pneumonic" one. Then I prefer train...

Unless it is a "plane," then I prefer spaceship.

That's a gorgeous motorcycle! Do you not ride them anymore?

I will soon... I was shopping for one a couple of weeks ago and got all the finances ready, I just couldn't spend the money. It's hard to justify it up here when the riding season is so short. I would commute on one to work every day, but that would only be for about four months out of the year.

Same with a boat. I love boats but can't justify all the expense for how little I would get to use it. My dad has a couple of boats that I use, though. Took this one out this past weekend fishing on a nearby lake where we have a cabin. I love big boats, I cannot lie...

I would love to take a ride on a pontoon boat, they look so nifty. I would feel like I'm in the lap of luxury in one of those. haha

That's ironic, as my dad, brother, and buddy, and I were talking about boat designs and which would be the best for what we do most and the pontoon was the winner. Then we saw a really nice one out on the lake, LOL.

It's weird, but when my brother went boat shopping, he really wanted a pontoon boat couldn't find a decent used one for under $10k around here. He ended up buying a regular V-hull fishing boat.

Then, he went with our buddy Jeremy out to Wisconsin to pick up an RV that Jeremy had bought online. He said he found all sorts of nice pontoon boats for sale out there for around $4k. It's funny how 1600 miles can have such an impact on values...

I've never been on a plane but I have no desire to either. :sorry:
as someone who is uncomfortable with heights and has been on a plane before. it's not all that bad it's similar enough to the car you actually feel comfortable up there. so much so i even look out the window.

I want to ride on a train! I've flown and I drive...but I'd like to ride on a train sometime. :D

I would love that! There is a train near here that has a handicapped accessible way to get into the train and it just takes a tour of the town. I'd like to do that as a first train ride, where it's not incredibly long and you get the feel of what it would be like.

Hmm I wouldn't be totally against it but I don't know. We'll see. :sorry:

Do you live in a country area? Being from a city I find it amazing that you've never been on a train before.

I used to ride these to and from school when I was a kid - always great fun - especially since they didn't have automatic doors so you could leave them open and hang out in summer.

I live in the suburban area, in a neighborhood. :) Near a big city but everything is so close there's really no point to riding a train unless it's just for fun or long distance traveling. :)

Yeah.....we don't do passenger trains where I live unless it's Amtrack or a "tour train" that costs like $50 a person. but I don't think there is an Amtrack near me. I have been on the subway before....when I was in London so I guess that counts as a train but somehow it doesn't seem the same.

Only train I've been on was the one from Williams, AZ up to the South rim of the Grand Canyon and back. It was fun with a staged "train robbery" and beautiful scenery. Expensive, though... Around $65 for an adult and $30 for a kid.

I don't think I could ever do the wing suit!! I don't have those guts. Oh my word it makes me nervous just thinking about it.

I am sooo not an adrenaline junkie and so when I see these people jumping out of aircrafts, bungee jumping, the wing suit thing or even parachuting I'm like nope, nuh huh. I'll watch a movie about it and live vicariously through other people. haha

Like the French man who tight roped across the twin towers back when they were first built and actually laid down on the little itty bitty cord? I saw that in the movie and about passed out I felt so uncomfortable haha

Yeah... Heights are NOT my thing. I get the butterflies in my stomach just from wearing cowboy boots...

I don't know whether to comfort you or giggle a little. So I'm going to giggle quietly while comforting you. :p

I agree though, heights aren't my deal. I see all these videos of these daredevils going out on these high buildings, standing on ledges. I even saw this one guy who did a hand stand ON the ledge. His legs were teetering. It was terrible lol But he did it without fail

When I was younger, I was working at a grain elevator and had to change out a belt on a grain conveyor 70' in the air. It was a little breezy and when I got to the top, the wind was moving the whole thing back and forth a few inches. Did not like...
