And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord. Isaiah 66:23.

How beautiful the earth was when it came from the Creator's hand! God presented before the universe a world in which even His all-seeing eye could find no spot or stain. Each part of the creation occupied the part assigned to it, and answered the purpose for which it was created. Peace and holy joy filled the earth. There was no confusion, no clashing. There was no disease to afflict man or beast, and the vegetable kingdom was without taint or corruption. God looked upon the work of His hands, wrought out by Christ, and pronounced it "very good."

The Sabbath was hallowed at the creation. As ordained for man, it had its origin when "the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy." Job 38:7. . ..

The Sabbath was not for Israel merely, but for the world. It had been made known to man in Eden, and, like the other precepts of the Decalogue, it is of imperishable obligation. Of that law of which the fourth commandment forms a part, Christ declares, "Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law." Matthew 5:18. So long as the heavens and the earth endure, the Sabbath will continue as a sign of the Creator's power. And when Eden shall bloom on earth again, God's holy rest day will be honored by all beneath the sun. "From one sabbath to another" the inhabitants of the glorified new earth shall . . . "worship before me, saith the Lord."

God teaches that we should assemble in His house to cultivate the attributes of perfect love. This will fit the dwellers of earth for the mansions that Christ has gone to prepare for all who love Him. There they will assemble in the sanctuary from Sabbath to Sabbath, from one new moon to another, to unite in loftiest strains of song, in praise and thanksgiving to Him who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb forever and ever.

This brings up (to me) an important truth/lesson in line with all YHVH'S WORD,
somewhat a "test", a "challenge" for so many people (outsiders) who think they hear God speaking to them - yet not in accordance with all His Word or His Plan or His Purpose in Christ Jesus .....

Test all things, all should be in perfect harmony with all God's Word (Scripture) , BEFORE believing or accepting anything from anyone or any messenger or any voice.

If a message is not in total agreement with all God's Word (Scripture), do NOT accept the message. This immediately rules out most 'messages' and most 'voices' outsiders keep hearing or listening to or receiving from man or spirit.

As regards so many doctrines of man, so many are out of line with God's Word (Scripture), yet willingly (it seems) accepted, contrary to God's Warnings.
This is pertinent as so many outsiders have always listened to messengers or messages "outside" of God's Word, apart from and opposed to God's Plan and God's Purpose in Jesus Messiah Savior King of the Jews.
They may have been raised outside, as outsiders, and never thought to check what they were always taught or what they always believed to be right, so they never found out, perhaps, what is the TRUTH.

THANKS be to YHVH, by faith and grace through and in JESUS LORD AND SAVIOR, anyone, everyone, who-so-ever, seeks YHVH'S KINGDOM and keeps seeking His Kingdom FINDS HIM!

Why do you think Adventists are not doing much with the new moon?
Are they waiting for the priests and Levites to be brought back from the nations?

20 Then they shall bring all your brethren for an offering to the Lord out of all nations, on horses and in chariots and in litters, on mules and on camels, to My holy mountain Jerusalem,” says the Lord, “as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the Lord. 21 And I will also take some of them for priests and Levites,” says the Lord.
22 “For as the new heavens and the new earth
Which I will make shall remain before Me,” says the Lord,
“So shall your descendants and your name remain.
23 And it shall come to pass
That from one New Moon to another,
And from one Sabbath to another,
All flesh shall come to worship before Me,” says the Lord.

Isaiah 66:21, reveals that God would take some persons "for" [in the stead of, place of, office of, etc] "priests and Levites". These are the Christians, a Kingdom of Priests, a royal nation an holy priesthood. Christ Jesus is the true Levi [attached to His Father and attached to us, Divinity and humanity].

Isaiah 66:20-23 KJB, deals with the true "children of Israel" [Jesus [true Israel], and his disciples [true children of Israel]]:

[Jesus is Israel part 1] - COL 2:14-17 The REAL truth from God's Word

[Jesus is Israel part 2] - COL 2:14-17 The REAL truth from God's Word

[Jesus is Israel part 3] - COL 2:14-17 The REAL truth from God's Word

[Jesus is Israel part 4] - COL 2:14-17 The REAL truth from God's Word

[Jesus is Israel part 5] - COL 2:14-17 The REAL truth from God's Word

and as such, it speaks of their future inheritance, the New Heavens and New Earth after the 1,000 years of Revelation 20; Isaiah 24; Daniel 7:22; 2 Peter 3:8-13 KJB, etc. As Isaiah 66:23 is given as prophecy, future tense, "It shall come to pass ...", "they shall", etc.

Going back to Colossians 2:16, there were shadows in dealing with the New Moons, but in the Reality [to come], the substance:

See Colossians 2, Ephesians 2; Hebrews 8-10 and their intimate connections KJB:

    Colossians 2:16 KJB -

[3.] "or of the new moon" [monthly, based upon phases of the moon]:

Genesis 1:14 KJB - And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

Genesis 1:16 KJB - And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
See also, that there are “ordinances” [in speaking of celebration thereon] of the moon, were sacrifices, blowing trumpets, etc:

    Numbers 28:11 KJB - And in the beginnings of your months ye shall offer a burnt offering unto the LORD; two young bullocks, and one ram, seven lambs of the first year without spot;

    Numbers 28:12 KJB - And three tenth deals of flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, for one bullock; and two tenth deals of flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, for one ram;

Numbers 28:13 KJB - And a several tenth deal of flour mingled with oil for a meat offering unto one lamb; for a burnt offering of a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD.

Numbers 28:14 KJB - And their drink offerings shall be half an hin of wine unto a bullock, and the third part of an hin unto a ram, and a fourth part of an hin unto a lamb: this is the burnt offering of every month throughout the months of the year.

Numbers 28:15 KJB - And one kid of the goats for a sin offering unto the LORD shall be offered, beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.

Psalms 81:3 KJB - Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.

Psalms 81:4 KJB - For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob.

Psalms 81:5 KJB - This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not.

Ezra 3:5 KJB - And afterward offered the continual burnt offering, both of the new moons, and of all the set feasts of the LORD that were consecrated, and of every one that willingly offered a freewill offering unto the LORD.

Ezekiel 45:17 KJB - And it shall be the prince's part to give burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and drink offerings, in the feasts, and in the new moons, and in the sabbaths, in all solemnities of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the sin offering, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the house of Israel.

Ezekiel 46:6 KJB - And in the day of the new moon it shall be a young bullock without blemish, and six lambs, and a ram: they shall be without blemish.

    [Notice again:

    Notice, again, Isaiah 56:7:

Isaiah 56:7 KJB - Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices [shall be] accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
Then compare to what Isaiah has stated earlier about the New Heavens and New Earth [that earth made new wherein there is "no more pain..." [Revelation 21:4]], by inspiration of the Holy Spirit [and the context is powerful about the final deliverance of God's people]:

Isaiah 11:9 KJB - They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
    See also:

    Isaiah 57:13 KJB - When thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take [them]: but he that putteth his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain;

Isaiah 65:25 KJB - The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust [shall be] the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

Ezekiel 28:14 KJB - Thou [art] the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee [so]: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.]
The New Moons of the shadow [Colossians 2:16 KJB], see Numbers 28:11-16 KJB, were but the type of a greater antitype:

New Moon to Another in the New Heaven and Earth, deals with the eating from the literal Tree of Life:

Isaiah 66:22 KJB - For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

Isaiah 66:23 KJB - And it shall come to pass, [that] from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

[Keep in mind that in Isaiah 56:5 KJB, the "everlasting name" given to us by God?, Here it is again as "your name remain", even as the "new heavens and the new earth", "shall remain before" God ever and always. Thus the two passages are connected, even as both mention the Sabbath of the LORD thy God, as being throughout eternity, kept by the "sons" [and "daughters"], the "disciples" of Jesus, etc.]

[Again, the words of that which is "everlasting", "remain before Me [LORD; and He, everlasting, eternal]", speaking of the "new heavens and new earth" all that which is therein. This would include the ["my", says God] Sabbath of the LORD thy God, in the very context of Isaiah 56 & 66, see Isaiah 56:2,4,6 part of the very "my [God's] covenant" [which Jesus made in the Gospels, see Isaiah 56:8; John 10:16, etc] spoken of therein, and see also Isaiah 66:23. This was previously stated in Isaiah 8:10 ["God with us"] through and unto vs 18 itself, as shown, and directly cited in Hebrews 2:9-13, etc.]
    Indeed, consider:

Ezekiel 47:12 KJB - And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.

Revelation 2:7 KJB - He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Revelation 22:2 KJB - In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Revelation 22:14 KJB - Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

    [See also:

Isaiah 26:2 KJB - Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.

Psalms 119:151 KJB - Thou [art] near, O LORD; and all thy commandments [are] truth.

Psalms 119:142 KJB - Thy righteousness [is] an everlasting righteousness, and thy law [is] the truth.

1 John 2:4 KJB - He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.]

So not actual Israelites, and some are nominated to be Levites?

    Why would you need Levites?

Yes, that is a lot of texts regarding the new moon.

But if you will be keeping the new moon in the future, why are the SDA not now?

And that is when children will die at a hundred years old, but sinners live longer?

Isaiah 65:20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

So the fulfillment includes the Sabbath, and Levites (but not actual Levites), but NOT the New Moon? You have a lot of texts there, but none of them say the New Moon is the tree of life.

    Ok fruit....months....

    Fruit....months....

Fruit, months.....I still don't see the moon part. Where is your text that says the moon = the fruit?

That is a lot of texts on moons and months, but I don't see the one that says the fruit each month is the fulfillment of the new moon. And if we don't have the tree of life yet, why are you not keeping the new moon?

Isaiah 65:20, speaks of the developmental growth of children [Isaiah speaks of several stages, sucking child, weaned child, little child, etc] in the New Heaven and New Earth. They will still even be children/youth until even 100 years of age, as it was in the days of Adam, see Genesis 5, and at 100 they will be considered adults.

The sinner [as all sin] even after 100 years [have passed in the New Heavens and New Earth], will still be accursed, dead and gone forever, Daniel 12:2 KJB.

It doesn't say after a hundred years. It says a hundred years old.

but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

Isaiah 65:20 KJB - There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

[Context: Isaiah 65:17 KJB - For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.]
Shall we not see how the text begins with:

"There shall be no more thence an infant of days", in comparison to the latter part of the text?, "the child shall die an hundred years old". These two together speak of a childhood that lasts 100 years, before becoming an adult.

The Bible [KJB] in several places speaks of "the days of thy youth", "days of his youth", "yet a youth", "but a youth" which ceases at manhood, for the "days of youth [as a child]" are not endless, but have a set time, for a period of growth [thus as Ecclesiastes says, a "time to die" [Ecclesiastes 3:2 KJB]], for instance:

Psalms 144:12 KJB - That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace:

    In further context, we read:

Isaiah 65:22 KJB - They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
The children in the New Heavens and New Earth do not stay youth forever, but grow up, and thus the youth dies, is "passed away", ceases to be youth, and is now adult, thus the phrase of 'passing' into adulthood:

Malachi 4:2 KJB - But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
    Paul says something similar:

1 Corinthians 13:11 KJB - When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

Ephesians 4:15 KJB - But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

By the way, death doesn't mean someone becomes an adult.

A time to be born, A time to die,.....in your view means a time not to be a child? Not sure that follows.

Yes, children grow. But death is not becoming an adult.

Yes, they have long life compared to that of a tree. So your view is that in heaven we will live as long as a tree?

The text shows long life, hence even the sinner living to 100, though that is considered accursed, because it is not that long.

Or if we take your interpretation....they are dead. But that doesn't explain the hundred years old.

Doesn't say that. It says they die.

He doesn't say he died. He says he grew up.

    So putting this all together...

There will be Israelites brought back from the nations who will be appointed priests and Levites. But they are not necessarily Israelites, and they are not Levites, they are Christians.

And they will assemble for the new moon....but there is no new moon, that is just a symbol of the fruit from the tree of life.....

So this has no Israelites, no new moon, no Levites, ......but there is a real Sabbath. That part is definitely real.

And they will live as long as a tree. And children will live one hundred years and then die--but that means they will be adults.

Are we sure that is what this means?

Months are determined by the new Moon:

Genesis 1:14 KJB And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

Genesis 1:16 KJB And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

Jeremiah 31:35 KJB Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:

Jeremiah 31:36 KJB If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.

    Jeremiah 33:25 KJB Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant be not withday and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;
We can see an example of this here:

1 Samuel 20:5 KJB - And David said unto Jonathan, Behold, to morrow is the new moon, and I should not fail to sit with the king at meat: but let me go, that I may hide myself in the field unto the third day at even.

1 Samuel 20:18 KJB - Then Jonathan said to David, To morrow is the new moon: and thou shalt be missed, because thy seat will be empty.

1 Samuel 20:24 KJB - So David hid himself in the field: and when the new moon was come, the king sat him down to eat meat.

1 Samuel 20:27 KJB - And it came to pass on the morrow, which was the second day of the month, that David's place was empty: and Saul said unto Jonathan his son, Wherefore cometh not the son of Jesse to meat, neither yesterday, nor to day?
According to scripture [KJB] in the standard year, there are 12 months, 12 new moons:

Thus there are twelve Months of the Scriptures, which are “all the months of the year”, which are clearly delineated in 1 Chronicles 27:1-15 KJB and again in 1 Kings 4:7 KJB, by the twelve courses of Israelites or officers:

1 Chronicles 27:1 KJB - Now the children of Israel after their number, to wit, the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds, and their officers that served the king in any matter of the courses, which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year, of every course were twenty and four thousand.

1 Kings 4:7 KJB - And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, which provided victuals for the king and his household: each man his month in a year made provision.

We can know from scripture that the full year is 12 months:

Esther 2:12 KJB - Now when every maid's turn was come to go in to king Ahasuerus, after that she had been twelve months, according to the manner of the women, (for so were the days of their purifications accomplished, to wit, six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with sweet odours, and with other things for the purifying of the women;)

Daniel 4:29 KJB - At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon.

We can show from scripture [KJB] the 12 months, for instance [KJB]:

    [01] The First month:

    Genesis 8:13; Exodus 12:2,18, 40:2,17; Leviticus 23:5; Numbers 9:1,5, 20:1, 28:16, 33:3; Joshua 4:19; 1 Chronicles 12:15, 27:2,3; 2 Chronicles 29:3,17, 35:1; Ezra 6:19, 7:9, 8:31, 10:17; Esther 3:7,12; Ezekiel 29:17, 30:20, 45:18,21; Daniel 10:4; Joel 2:23

    The beginning of the months:

    Exodus 12:2,3,6,11,18

Called Abib, from Exodus [see also Nisan after Babylonian Captivity]:

    Abib: Exodus 13:4, 23:15, 34:18; Deuteronomy 16:1
    Nisan: Nehemiah 2:1; Esther 3:7

    [02] The Second month:

    Genesis 7:11, 8:14; Exodus 16;1; Numbers 1:1,18, 9:11, 10:11; 1 Kings 6:1; 1 Chronicles 27:4; 2 Chronicles 3:2, 30:2,13,15; Ezra 3:8

    Called “Zif”:

    [03] The Third month:

    [04] The Fourth month:

    2 Kings 25:3; 1 Chronicles 27:7; Jeremiah 39:2, 52:6; Ezekiel 1:1; Zechariah 8:19

The Scriptures do not actually name the name of the Fourth Month, but today the Jews presently know it [in the religious calender] as, “Tammuz”. The closest the Bible comes to this, is found in Ezekiel, when the Israelite women were weeping for the false god, “Tammuz” [this is where “Lent” actually comes from], but in this instance in Scripture it was in the 6th month [Ezekiel 8:1 KJB] that this was done:

    [05] The Fifth month:

    Numbers 33:38; 2 Kings 25:8; 1 Chronicles 27:8; Ezra 7:8,9; Jeremiah 1:3, 28:1, 52:12; Ezekiel 20:1; Zechariah 7:2

The Scriptures do not actually name the name of the Fifth Month, but today the Jews presently know it [in the religious calender] as, “Av”.

    [06] The Sixth month:

    1 Chronicles 27:9; Ezekiel 8:1; Haggai 1:1,15

We may know that this Sixth month was called “Elul”, even as the Jews still to this day so designate it:

    [07] The Seventh month:

    Genesis 8:4; Leviticus 16:29, 23:24,27,34,39,41, 25:9; Numbers 29:1,7,12; 1 Kings 8:2; 2 Kings 25:25; 1 Chronicles 27:10; 2 Chronicles 5:3, 7:10, 31:7; Ezra 3:1,6; Nehemiah 7:73, 8:2,14; Jeremiah 28:17, 41:1; Ezekiel 45:25; Haggai 2:1; Zechariah 7:5

We may know that this Seventh month was called “Ethanim”, though today the Jews presently call it “Tishrei/Tishri”:

    [08] The Eighth month:

    1 Kings 6:38, 12:32,33; 1 Chronicles 27:11; Zechariah 1:1

We may know that this Eighth month was called “Bul”, though today the Jews presently call it “Marcheshvan/Cheshvan”:

    [09] The Ninth month:

    1 Chronicles 27:12; Ezra 10:9; Jeremiah 36:9, 36:22; Haggai 2:10,18; Zechariah 7:1

We may know that this Ninth month was called “Chisleu”, and the Jews presently still so designate it this, “Chislev/Kislev”:

    [10] The Tenth month:

    Genesis 8:5; 2 Kings 25:1; 1 Chronicles 27:13; Ezra 10:16; Esther 2:16; Jeremiah 39:1, 52:4; Ezekiel 24:1, 29:1, 33:21

We may know that this Tenth month was called “Tebeth”, and the Jews presently still so designate it as this, “Tevet”.

    [11] The Eleventh month:

    Deuteronomy 1:3; 1 Chronicles 27:14; Zechariah 1:7

We may know that this Eleventh month was called “Sebat”, and the Jews presently still so designate it this, “Shevat/Shvat”:

    [12] The Twelfth month:

    2 Kings 25:27; 1 Chronicles 27:15; Esther 3:7,13, 8:12, 9:1; Jeremiah 52:31; Ezekiel 32:1

We may know that this Twelfth month was called “Adar”, and the Jews presently still so designate it this, “Adar”:

    Ezra 6:15; Esther 3:7,13, 8:12, 9:1,15,17,19,21

    Yes they are!

But that does not say that the assembly for the new moon is a symbol of eating the fruit of the tree of life. None of those texts say that.

It says they go up from one new moon to the other. The new moon as you posted over and over, was one of the appointed times.

You have shown no text that says it is a symbol for eating the fruit of the tree of life.

And since we are not at the "literal" as you said tree of life right now, why are you not keeping the new moon now?

    Hi tall,

Good question this all links back to the SHADOWS OF COLOSSIANS 2:14-17 thread linked.
I may add this to the thread when I get some more time.

The answer to this question however is not a difficult one and follows the same theme as what is being discussed in the linked thread above in relation to Shadow law from the MOSAIS BOOK of the COVENANT.

Firstly it is important to understand the purpose of the NEW MOON and why it was given. This starts in Genesis 1:14-19 when God made the sun and the moon on the 4th day of the week.

GENESIS 1:14-16 [14], [14], And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: [15], And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light on the earth: and it was so. [16], And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

So the sun and the moon was made to be signs for seasons and for days and years v14.

For the Jewish calender, the months in the calendar was established as lunar months. So the beginning of the month started on the new moon. The New Moon is a precise astronomical event and can occur on different days because of the rotation of the earth throughout the year (summer, winter autumn spring).

This was especially important when God gave commandment to observe the feasts and festivals in their given times it was vital to keep accurate count of when the new month began to celebrate the annual festivals correctly.

Leviticus 23:4 [4], These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which you shall proclaim in their seasons.

God was very clear that the festivals were to be celebrated not because they are for man but because they are His appointed times and seasons that they needed to be celebrated in.

In Numbers 28:11, the New Moon offering is commanded for the first time: “On the first of every month, present to the Lord a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect.” Each of the animal sacrifices was to be accompanied by a grain offering and a drink offering (Numbers 28:12–14; 1 Chronicles 23:30-31).

In addition to burnt offerings, a goat was to be sacrificed to the Lord as a sin offering (Numbers 28:15). The New Moon festival marked the consecration to God of each new month in the year. New Moon festivals were marked by sacrifices, the blowing of trumpets over the sacrifices (Numbers 10:10; Psalms 81:3), the suspension of all labor and trade (Nehemiah 10:31), and social or family feasts (1 Samuel 20:5).

1 Chronicles 31:3, He also appointed the king's portion of his goods for the burnt offerings, namely, for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the sabbaths and for the new moons and for the fixed festivals, as it is written in the law of the LORD.

These are the laws in ORDINANCES for remission of sin from the MOSAIC BOOK of the COVENANT as discussed in the linked thread above that were SHADOW laws pointing to Jesus.

At the coming of Jesus however, these were to come to an end as they were Shadows pointing to Jesus as our true sacrifice (John 1:29) and God's plan of Salvation. Hosea 2:11, I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts.

In short, we do not continue now with the festivals and new moon sacrifices that were shadows that pointed to Jesus and God's plan of salvation.

We keep the NEW MOON feast by faith in Christ as our sacrifice for sin. This is the everlasting Covenant.

Further scripture support for the shadow laws in ORDINANCES from SHADOWS OF COLOSSIANS 2:14-17 thread linked

    Hope this helps.

That was never in dispute. Whey have you provided all these texts to say that there are 12 months in a year and the new moon starts a month when that was not questioned?

Why not show me the text that says the new moon service was actually a symbol of the fruit from the tree of life?

So then why do you keep pointing to the text in Isaiah that says we will assemble for the new moon and for Sabbath if you do not in fact assemble for the new moon but celebrate it as a completed work in Christ?

23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.
