You are wrong, existence is a state not an entity, that which exists is an entity not a state therefore the sum totality of all things that exist doesnt automatically convert entity to a state.Existence is precisely that which exists. Existence is the sum of all entities and their relationships. There is no Existence apart from or superior to entities. Without entities, there is no Existence.
You hadn't addressed what I had written. Did you get my point? If God has identifiable properties unique to himself, he can't be identified as the abstraction Existence. He is something specific that (a theist claims) exists.
eudaimonia,
Mark
That's the thing, God's qualities are not identifiable, He is spirit, to be identifiable he had to become flesh, Jesus Christ, therefore God can be idenfied as the abstraction existence, because everything else exists
