That's definitely the response of an assured person who knows God in a powerful way. I'd pay attention a little....you know, test all things, but we can test with kindness. For example, we can ask questions in a different way that aren't hurtful. I know that I can sure do a better job. I'll work at it too.

I hear ya. I've felt the Power of God, but I did not hear any voices nor did I see any visions. This Power, was the most unbelievable experience I'll ever have on this earth. It was so far beyond vision or sound. I felt God, and there are zero human words to describe something that created the Universe. I'll never be the same. More than this, I feel like a stranger in a foreign land. No one accept my message or my story. I'm fine with it; I accept it as confirmation.

How can one word of God be any less authoritative than another word of God? Prophecy is just as authoritative and infallible as scripture.

But the claim that the ministry of apostle died with them is completely false. If apostles and prophets have ceased, then it stands to reason that all the others have also ceased.

And if the ministry gifts have ceased, then all of today's teachers pastors and evangelists are frauds and liars and have nothing to do with God.

I'm just dealing with those here whose 'systematic perception' makes them think they got the Holy Spirit when they were born again, and not the holy spirit of Christ. If they really did get the Holy Spirit then I'd have to admit they have a platform to say WE have nothing THEY don't have. But even the Johnny come lately Pentecostal and Charismatic move swallowed the false teachings of those prior theologians who were Spiritually "ungifted/unlearned" concerning the things I speak of. IOW I speak against a theology which was birthed in the many centuries preceding this outpouring in the 'last days' of this age. Unfortunately, that means I'm here trying to 'argue' against not only the 'have nots' but even those who do 'have' what the 'have nots' do not have.

You say that because you have not experienced it, i consider myself skeptical as it can be someone, but actually realistic that God does supernatural stuff.
