Anyone who dismisses science while enjoying science's fruits is to put it mildly being hypocritical.

There is no other way to put it. Creationists who wish to take the Bible literally and insist on a 6000 year old Earth and such things like the dinosaurs lived amongst people and that the sun orbits the Earth etc cannot in all earnest dismiss science as they are not in a position to judge science.

Religions are not science and science is not religion. Faith is spiritual and science does not deal with spiritual matters.

Allegedly. As it happens, nothing we know of requires the invocation of a deity to explain something. Even if you don't believe in the theory of atoms, and instead believe that the reason we can't walk through walls is due to God's love pushing back (or something involving a deity) - the fact remains that atoms are a valid explanation for the phenomenon, and the explanation doesn't invoke or require a deity. It would be true if God existed, it would be true if he didn't.

And, it turns out, this is true of all scientific explanations. Maybe, in the future, there'll be some phenomenon that is best explained by God - if the Rapture really did happen back in May/October last year, say - but no such phenomenon has been discovered.

Creationists dismiss science just as much as the inquisition did.

If your faith is strong then you should not fear science. If your morals are true then you should not warp science. If you truly believe in science then stop dismissing it especially by such statements like "Science can take a hike".

"Entropy" in physics means "measure of disorder in a system".

For a "closed" system Entropy-change is ALWAYS positive. i.e. unless some external energy along with a mechanism to organize that energy is there to force the system towards state of orderliness, everything goes from state of order towards disorder. In creation of universe that external force was The Creator. Laws of Physics state that Entropy of universe is always increasing. "Spontaneous" evolution goes against this law!!! Only a "controlled" evolution would satisfy law of Entropy change. Who was the controller?

For DNA to have evolved upwards, from primitive to advanced, through trillions of trillions of species, without someone causing it to happen, is against law of Entropy change. Because "disorder" of universe is supposed to increase continually.

There is an external energy source powering life on this planet - look upwards around midday and you might just catch a glimpse of it.

If this energy source is controlling the entropy of living systems, then the sun is the creator and you have been worshipping the wrong god.
Lucky for us he doesn't seem to be as jealous or petty as Yahweh/Allah/El/whatever, because he hasn't smitted us despite being practically ignored for the last couple of thousand years.

Actually, it's quite the opposite- everything requires the invocation of The Deity or a deity. The world functions according to the laws of consciousness (not atoms). There are seasons of sowing and reaping, every act has purpose, every desire causes a change.

"Experts" of natural philosophy are not really experts of reality (which includes the natural) since said philosophy cannot take into account all the activities possible and underway in a universe under the rule of consciousness.

With or without technology there is still control under the laws of consciousness.

The scientific method is conpensatory and not a necessity.

The more direct the pathway between consciousness and a material effect, the closer it is to being deemed a miracle.
