I do not think that we are headed toward a civil war. We are just extremely polarized. We can still avert such by talking and listening and acting with “the other side” to the mutual benefit of all Americans.I'm asking him to define what he sees the sides as, and I will tell him which one I'm on. I know what the sides are, but his narrative might be different then mine, so I'm asking so my answer can line up with the way he thinks.
You have asserted that we are in a “cold civil war”, obviously, then, you have decided which “side” you’re already on, my query just asked “which?”
Arguing in such a way as to not “lose” means than you can never be sure if you’ve won.
The rest of us can then ignore what you have to say because you won’t come out and actually say what you mean.
