Considering how he has been treated and how those associated with him in any way were treated who would blame him for doing exactly that.
He and his ilk are self serving criminals. That is why many of them are felons

The FBI has A laptop, given to them from a legally blind man in Delaware who claimed that it was Hunter Biden who dropped it off himself...from California. At least that's what the name on the work order said.

Anyone, you say?

Sorry, the Hunter Biden Story Is Still Not a Thing

William Barr Pressured the FBI to Launder Rudy’s Campaign Dirt

How 'Obamagate' and Hunter’s 'laptop from hell' fizzled

There are plenty more, of course... but by all means, continue to be the trusting soul that Donald is counting on...
You better go find the plenty more because nothing in those articles questions the valididy of the notebook and the contents. OR for that matter the eyewitness who was part of these foreign business transactions and attended a meeting with Joe Biden where they were discussed. I have to question if you even read those articles, you certainly did not provide any quotes from them to support your assertions, well it is hard to provide something that does not exist isnt it.

Because there are no "hard facts" here, from either side. As TLK Valentine stated, we know the FBI has "a" laptop that, per the work order, says "Hunter Biden." What we don't have is any hard evidence that it did belong to Hunter Biden, including the fact that -- despite things you keep claiming are "slam dunks" to prove guilt -- the FBI has not filed any charges based on the laptop. And, while you likely won't accept this and just claim "bias" -- there are good reasons that no "MSM," to include Fox and the Wall Street Journal, have had news articles that outright state this is Hunter Biden's laptop or stories based on the emails that were allegedly on the laptop.
Well the oldest newspaper in our nation has had plenty to say about it, since when is the NYP not MSM? Emails on the computer have been verified as being authentic by those who sent or received them. The handwriting on the computer shop work order has been verified as belonging to Hunter, the pictures on the computer are of Hunter, and most importantly Hunter or Joe have not denied that the computer belongs to Hunter. Looks like very good reasons to believe that it belongs to Hunter.

Why does being a Trump supporter apparently mean you also have to believe whatever gullible nonsense the tabloids feed you? You have a story that makes absolutely zero rational sense, but it makes your opponent look bad so gosh it must be true!!

Ok then, you have fun with this nonsense, and then when inevitable nothing happens legally (like all the other times you guys have claimed wrongdoing) you can pretend it’s all a big coverup by new President Biden.

STOP twisting my posts.

I'm just reading what YOU wrote. If you thought Donald's hateful comments should be called out, you wouldn't be so upset when people did so... and yet you are.

I'm not sure what is currently being used as the definition of "MSM." Traditionally, it seems most that use the term here have excluded Fox News and other right-wing sources from the "MSM." By that logic, the NY Post is not "MSM." Additionally, most wouldn't include them as "MSM" due to the tabloid type stories they publish. In the case of the Biden articles, the fact remains that no other "MSM" newspaper would touch, must less seriously report, on the stories.

In the end, the story was based on a few pieces of paper, provided by Trump's personal lawyer, that were alleged to have come from Hunter Biden. The papers had none of the email headers, that would help support the claims they were real emails, nor would Mr. Giuliani allow anyone even to see the "hard drive" that he claimed was copied from the Biden laptop.

Some of the emails have been stated to appear to be legitimate -- and note that I did state that some were likely legitimate. It is a known tactic, you mix some authentic things in with the fake, to try to "fool" people into thinking they are all legitimate. The handwriting has not be verified as Hunters -- particularly the "scribble" that is a signature; though at least one person who, from what I've seen, did not have access to original writing by Hunter or even the repair bill, much less has had his credentials verified. Rather, much like the "intelligence experts" in the Kraken lawsuit, this appears (from what I've seen) to be someone that has little actual training and less experience in handwriting analysis. And I'd suggest that Joe Biden saying that the laptop is a "Russian plant" is very much a statement that the laptop is not Hunter's.

"Investigators have been examining multiple financial issues, including whether Hunter Biden and his associates violated tax and money laundering laws in business dealings in foreign countries, principally China, according to two people briefed on the probe.
Some of those transactions involved people who the FBI believe sparked counterintelligence concerns, a common issue when dealing with Chinese business, according to another source.
The FBI took possession of the laptop in late 2019, according to a computer repairman in Delaware who showed reporters a copy of a subpoena. The subpoena is real, according to people briefed on the matter, but the FBI and prosecutors in Delaware have refused to confirm the existence of the investigation.
It's unclear whether the laptop's contents are relevant to the ongoing federal probe and whether investigators can even use them, given potential chain of custody requirements for evidence.Investigators appear to be focused on Hunter Biden's business activities connected to China. Some of his business dealings in China are publicly known through interviews and documents released in September by Senate Republicans on the Finance Committee and the Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs.Hunter Biden had been involved in an earlier Chinese business venture that drew concerns in the Obama White House and Joe Biden's staff, according to the New Yorker. In 2013, Hunter Biden became involved with US and Chinese partners who were creating an investment fund called BHR Partners for deals outside China. Hunter Biden was an unpaid member of the BHR board and took an equity stake after his father left office, the New Yorker reported." Hunter Biden: Federal criminal investigation focuses on his business dealings in China - CNNPolitics
"A former business associate of Hunter has come forward to say he can confirm the allegations.

Tony Bobulinski told Fox News that, contrary to Joe Biden's statements that he had nothing to do with his son's business affairs, Hunter "frequently referenced asking him for his sign-off or advice on various potential deals" in China.

Mr Bobulinski, who is reportedly a US Navy veteran, separately told Fox News' Tucker Carlson that he met on two occasions with Joe Biden to discuss business deals with China, the first time in May 2017 when the former vice-president was a private citizen.

He claims he asked Joe Biden's brother, James, whether the family was concerned about possible scrutiny of the former vice-president's involvement in a potential business deal with a Chinese entity. Mr Bobulinski told Fox News that James Biden replied: "Plausible deniability." Hunter Biden: What was he doing in Ukraine and China? Your turn

As for the first, since when do you believe unnamed sources? I expect you not to believe those claims, since the people won't go on the record -- or do you want to admit to having a double standard? Regardless, what does that have to do with Joe Biden? I've heard zero claims that the FBI has been investigating Joe Biden, only Hunter.

As for Mr. Bobulinski -- I almost brought him up before but decided to wait, that post was long enough. This is a person that supposedly about 4 years ago was brought into all of this. Yet he didn't report it then, didn't tell anyone that I'm aware of. Instead, we learn that a couple of weeks before the NY Post story came out, he was in Washington working with members of the Trump administration and campaign to talk to a reporter of the Wall Street Journal. Of course, then the Wall Street Journal decided they couldn't run the story because they couldn't verify the story. Trump even Tweeted out about the "big bombshell" only to have nothing happen.

So, of course, Giuliani got tired and "leaked" a couple of copies of what are claimed to be Hunter Biden emails to the NY Post -- though with no header or other information that would allow those copies to be authenticated at all. Still, the Wall Street Journal wants no part of the story.

At this point, Mr. Bobulinski is tired of being "sidelined" so he goes public. At that point he is able to get on Tucker Carlson's show, and either finally realizes he needs to talk to the FBI or the FBI contacted him, and last the Senate reaches out to arrange a hearing with him.

So, why after about 4 years did he finally decide he needed to talk to the FBI or some type of law enforcement; and why did he only decide to do it after he tried to get an interview arranged by the Trump campaign?

Next, after talking to Bubinski, Tucker Carlson claimed that he had explosive new evidence -- with the implication that it had come from Bubinski. Of course, the evidence was in New York and they were sending it down. Oh, but it got "lost" so he couldn't present it that night but, oh, they've found it and we'll talk about it tomorrow -- and we had copies, so we really could have presented it before. So the next night comes and Carlson suddenly decides he shouldn't be mean to Hunter Biden anymore, the guys been through enough. No mention of the "explosive evidence" they had, that the original copies were arriving, no mention of Joe Biden; he just lets the story go. That doesn't sound at all suspicious to you?

Instead, what we see reported is that the Wall Street Journal reviewed the records provided by Bubinski and finds no evidence that Joe Biden was involved, they say, "Corporate records…show no role for Joe Biden.” Fox News examines the documents and also state that they “reviewed emails from Bobulinski related to the venture — and they don't show that the elder Biden had business dealings with SinoHawk Holdings, or took any payments from them or the Chinese.”

We'll see what happens with the DoJ and the Senate over the coming months. Of course, the FBI has been working on this case for over a year -- so if the evidence, particularly the laptop, is as strong as you suggest, you'd think someone would have been indicted by now.

Instead, no credible media source wanted to touch the laptop story -- the Wall Street Journal had it lined up as an exclusive story and ended up passing, even with the alleged "eyewitness." The person tasked to write the article for the Post refused to put his name on it; in fact, one of the reporters who was credited with the story didn't know about the story until after it was published. And to right wing media sources have stated that Bubinski had no actual evidence that showed Joe Biden was envolved.

Bubulinski said he did not come forward until it became obvious that he had been mistreated by Biden in their business deal, he got cut out. I have not seen the FBI attempting to return the laptop so they must want it for something. Also Bubulinski gave the FBI several cellphones that he claimed had additional evidence. We will see how things develop as more facts come out. I fully expect Trump to appoint a special prosecutor before he leaves office.

Heck of a motivation to lie.

Wow, he must really be sore at his ex-partner.

We will see how things develop as more facts come out. I fully expect Trump to appoint a special prosecutor before he leaves office.

And I expect such a prosecutor to find nothing.... just a last act of spite from a sore loser.

Either you don't need to read it, or you've already read it... pick a story and stick to it.

He's just channelling his inner Trump.

Trump Brags About 'Very Nice Letter' From Kim Jong Un, Then Admits He Hasn't Read It Yet - YouTube

Donald Trump: "A letter was given to me by Kim Jong Un. And that letter was a very nice letter. Oh, wouldn't you like to see what was in that letter. Wouldn't you like...how much, how much? How much? It was a very interesting letter. At some point, it may be appropriate - I may be able to give it to you maybe. You'll be able to see it.
... (several minutes later )
I haven't seen the letter yet. I purposely didn't open the letter. I haven't opened it. I didn't open it in front of the director."

So three-ish years after getting "cut out" he decided to complain? Not to mention, these types of "sour grapes" complaints typically turn out to be false, particularly when delayed like this, as they are trying to "destroy" any way they can. Not to mention, the fact that he's saying he would have been fine with criminal activity, had they paid him off, doesn't say much for his reliability.

As for the cellphones, he turned the information on them over to Fox news -- part of what they examined when they stated there was no evidence in the documents Bobulinski provided. I stated it before, we'll see what comes.
