Ok I have no interest in arguing with atheists that’s not what I’m here for. If I wanted to do that I’d go to an atheist website so you’ll have to find someone else to troll. I come to CF to discuss the scriptures and get different perspectives on God’s word.

Then you are in the wrong section. This is a science section and not only will you get interactions with non-believers, but the only real interactions about scriptures in this subsection are those specifically related to creation, flood, etc.

But the scriptures repeatedly state that God rested, past tense, on the 7th day. So your theory isn’t lining up with scripture my friend.

Genesis 1 to Genesis 2:4 is a history of an entire creation from beginning to end.

If your trying to explain God’s miracle of creation with science your going to fail because the Bible is a spiritual supernatural book. There are over a hundred miracles performed in the Bible that can never be explained by science. Lot’s wife turning to a pillar of salt, Aaron’s wooden staff turning into a snake then back into a wooden staff, Balaam’s donkey talking in a human language, etc. God’s miracles aren’t supposed to be explainable by science otherwise they wouldn’t be miracles and they wouldn’t have the effect that they were intended to have. They were performed to show God’s glory and might and to bring people to repentance.

God's powers over things in this world might be able to be explained by a higher science someday maybe, etc...

But either way, I am talking about the creation account in Genesis here right now, and not any of the other "miracles" right now, and how they do not conflict with evolutionary theory right now, etc...

It makes perfect sense. Genesis 1 God told us exactly how long it took to create the universe and everything in it. Then again in Exodus 20 he tells us again and again in Exodus 31. Obviously He can’t be blamed of being deceptive if people refuse to believe what He told them.

Because it's pointless, you assume one of God's days has to be of the exact same length as one of our days, etc.

And I also don't know which parts you are wanting me to address in Exodus also, etc, as they seem to have very little to nothing to do with the subject at hand, so I ignored them, etc.

In the movie called The Green Mile a man two little girls were killed. A man named John Coffee was founding covered in blood holding the two girls. He was arrested and found guilty of their murder and executed. All of the evidence pointed to John Coffee as being the murderer. It turned out that it wasn’t John Coffee that killed thr girls it was a different character in the movie. Evidence is not proof. The age of the universe according to science is based on speculation not proof. God’s word is truth and what your doing is excepting evidence over truth.

If it is detailing a history that would mean that it’s already happened. A historic event doesn’t take place in the future it takes place in the past.

I’m not talking about creation I’m talking about God resting on the seventh day. That has already happened. You’re saying that it hasn’t happened yet but the Bible clearly says several times that it has.
