Of those who do hate the country, for whatever reason, some of the hatred at least seems to be based in the unforgiveness of our country's past. Perhaps the founding was in part illegitimate; we conquered and pillaged the land of the Native Americans and had slavery for the first part of our founding. This was wrong wrong wrong, yet our country still prospers on top of its original sins.

And there are those like me who hate / are upset with things about my country because they've been wronged by it, like how public education was hell on me and did more harm than good, and then after all that and I'm good and shaken up, I find myself being beat by the hospital staff when I'm in psychosis and the drugged until I drool and become zombified. These are present problems that have followed us from the past, and I can more or less contain the contempt / disapproval I have to where it happened and why, and some of us - myself not included - are fortunate enough to have the personal power to make changes. I find it easier to hate when I feel powerless.

I have to say too, there's no telling what kind of place America would be if we never did slavery and instead co-existed with the Native Americans, among anything else. History is not (and probably never is) what it could have been, so living here and now there is a kind of opportunity-cost justice we've all been subjected to I'm sure, it's been accounted for. So then, I find within my heart to choose not to hate America on the sins of its fathers. Its a good country now, born again perhaps .

I'm sure, since San Francisco is very expensive. The majority of San Francisco's nice. It would be nice if Republican states didn't dump their problems here. Since they know Liberal states will help. I think CA should stop allowing people from other states. To get assistance and send them back. The same for illegal.

Acknowledging the problems a city faces doesn’t equal hatred or minimize the areas unaffected by the problem within that locale.

Money buys cleanliness, security, peace of mind and a better demographic. But that doesn’t alter the realities residents experience if they can’t afford the same.
