GREAT verse...you find the best verses...have you read the entire Bible through?
i agree....i don't skim when reading the Bible anymore....my prayer lately is that God would teach me to delight in Him and His Word and to delight in Him and His Word.....
and i agree, Malachi is written for us today......
'I the LORD search the heart' (Jeremiah 17.10).
Did you know a similar verse is used in Reve 2:23?
Jeremiah 17:10
I Yahweh, searching heart, examining the affections
and giving to man ways of him, as fruit of his doings. [Reve 2:23]
Reve 2:23
And the offspring of her I shall be killing in death, and shall be knowing all the Out-Calleds that I am the One searching kidneys/reigns and hearts
and I shall be giving to Ye each according to the works of Ye.
[Jeremiah 17:10]

The Church in Thyatira
The church in Thyatira has a longer message delivered to it from Jesus Christ than any of the seven churches.......
Thyatira means "sweet perfume of sacrifice" and when you study this word it speaks of a perfume that sends forth its fragrance as the result of bruising, crushing, or breaking...................
.
Yes, this is a wonderful thought!"And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him." ~Malachi 3:17
The GRACE of God just shines right through this verse...
what a GLORIOUSLY BEAUTIFUL verse this is:
"Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name." ~Malachi 3:16
what stands out for me as a "key" in this beautiful verse and PROMISE, is that it's referring to those who "fear the Lord"...that God puts THIS of UTMOST importance and it is very very DEAR to His heart and it BLESSES Him. How delightful is that?
hmmmmm.... not sure.....i just checked, and this is the KJV of it:
"And your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, The Lord will be magnified from the border of Israel." ~Malachi 1:5
Wow, they're quite diff'rent, aren't they?
