Revelation 3:8 I know your works.
See, I have set before you an open door,
and no one can shut it;
for you have a little strength,
have kept My word,
and have not denied My Name.
What does it mean to you to have an open door?
Is there a particular Remembrance of having an
open door as an opportunity to minister?
Does having “a little strength” an advantage?
2 Corinthians 12:
9 And He said to me,
“My grace is sufficient for you,
for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities,
that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 Therefore I take pleasure
in infirmities,
in reproaches,
in needs,
in persecutions,
in distress,
for Christ’s sake.
For when I am weak,
then I am strong.
What does it take to “keep His Word”?
1 Peter 4:14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ,
blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests
upon you. On their part He is blasphemed,
but on your part He is glorified.
The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus teaches us:
That to know the Lord’s strength, we must come to that
place of weakness; where we can take pleasure in
the Marks of Christ, knowing that a crown awaits.
2 Timothy 4:8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown
of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge,
will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also
to all who have loved His appearance.
When someone dismisses gifts of the Spirit,
have they denied His Name?
After receiving the Gift of a Broken Spirit and a Contrite Heart,
I witnessed the fruitfulness of a soul that becomes
a garden that the Lord tends and waters personally.
In Contentment
Isaiah 58:11 The LORD will guide you continually,
And satisfy your soul in drought,
And strengthen your bones;
You shall be like a watered garden,
And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
Jeremiah 31:12 Therefore they shall come and sing
in the height of Zion,
Streaming to the goodness of the LORD—
For wheat and new wine and oil,
For the young of the flock and the herd;
Their souls shall be like a well-watered garden,
And they shall sorrow no more at all.
