I am praying for a healing touch from the Lord for Rob and for strength for you.
May God be with both of you.

I do worry that I am boring you with our situation but we have now been advised that Rob's radiotherapy treatment is scheduled to start on 12th August. We have to attend the hospital a couple of times before that date for preliminary scans etc.


We are relieved that things are now starting to happen. We know that Rob can't wait too much longer for this treatment to begin because of the size of the tumour (about the size of a golf ball pressing on the brain stem).


Our love and grateful thanks to all who have been holding us up in prayer.

Thank you everyone who prayed for me recently. The problem is partly solved and I feel much better, at the moment. Praise God! I would appreciate prayer for a doctor's appointment I have on Friday though. Many thanks. Sue

I cancelled my doctor's appointment, as I thought I would be wasting his time, but now feel I need to see him! It is a difficult situation, as I refused specialist help as I felt it was the wrong type of treatment, and now need to explain this to my GP, without appearing to criticise anyone! It is a condition very few people understand, although my doctor seems to. I doubt that there is help locally, and would rather have no help than misunderstandings, which are so painful to deal with. Somehow I need to convey this to my GP. He is a very understanding person, for which I thank God. I would appreciate prayer for this appointment, which I shall have to book in the morning. Many thanks again. Sue.

I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to those who've posted to say they are praying since I put my prayer request on, only three hours ago.
Today I had what I felt was criticism about my current medical condition, from a relative, and it hurt so much. It was lovely logging on here again and seeing your posts and the gentleness of being in God's family! Thank you. I'm suffering from depression, which is not simply feeling fed-up as some people think, but has some really nasty symptoms including some physical ones. Many people do not understand and that makes it worse! Thank you for showing Jesus' love to me. Sue.

Sue--I've suffered from depression as well. If you click on my "Recovery" thread URL in my signature and scroll through it, you'll see some suggestions for fighting depression.

I know how much depression can debilitate a person, but it is possible to fight it and get better. As for that relative--forgive her and go on. Most people don't understand, they have absolutely no idea what they are talking about, or even how insensitive they are.

Sue as I said in my rep I too have suffered from depressive illness so know it is not easy and many misunderstand. God has stayed with me and at the moment I am well. I thank God for that. I will be praying as I said for just the right resource for your need. Peace in Jesus Jan

Please pray for my mother in law. She has had severe lower back and leg pain now for quite awhile. She has had xrays and will see DR on WED. The pain meds he has prescribed do not help her. It is quite wearing on her. She can walk etc. it is just extrememly uncomfortable and being active and walking twice a day with friends is very important to her especially now that her vision is so compromised. She can't read or do crosswords etc. anymore. Thanks.
