  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Pray for me, very stressful time. Have to get RHD car ready for job in two weeks or so, been working very hard on it - lost a few days severe heat exhaustion after towing accident.

DMV timeline means I might not get the title sorted until late November, puts huge strain of uncertainty on whether I can legally drive the RHD car for the next two months and a half.

Haven't made any money in a few weeks, got bills to pay. I feel like everything could drop out underneath me...

HVAC has been broken all summer, wondering if I'll be able to afford to fix it for winter.

And my roommate didn't pay internet bill for two months after I picked it up for him 3 months ago, seems like he was trying to get me to pick up his bill again - so they cut the internet out from nonpayment. Don't know when I will be able to post here again.
