Please keep my family and our priest, Fr. Michael in your prayers this week. Both my father-in-law and mother have surgeries, our son has put himself and us into a fair amount of trouble, and our priest is back in chemotherapy.

For my friend's son who has been battling cancer for years. He recently came down with pneumonia and the doctors put him in something called paralyzed sedation because his body is so worn and tired. He has a wife and child. He and his father both came down with cancer at the same time. His father passed several years ago.
Lord please have mercy on him and his family.

Dad's having a bad time coming off of surgery. One of the moments where he was lucid enough to say anything, he rejected the "prayer square" my mother's Sunday school class made for him. My family (and especially my dad) could use your prayers.

Starting Monday to about February 1st, all is decided and I have no real help. Except the Lord. I pray He comes through and delivers me, saves me, rescues, SOZO. Not doing too well right now. As God leads.

A dear friend of the family has just died after an all too brief battle with illness. He saved my life when I was a little child, when I threw myself into the deep end of a swimming pool and sank without a trace with no one around to save me. He saw it happen, ran to the pool, dived in and pulled me out. Not terribly dramatic, but it's very weird to think that a man has died without whom I wouldn't be here. He wasn't orthodox, or even christian as far as I know, but please pray for him.

It's a little thing, but the next few days and weeks are going to be pretty crazy for me: I have to move out of the apartment I'm subletting, get rid of the furniture, drive five hours to my parents' house for Thanksgiving and back, and wrap up my job before moving back to my parents' and then Christmas. It's pretty hectic, and to top it off I have to say goodbye to the parish I've been attending for the past two and a half years.

Please pray that everything will go smoothly.
