I posted this last August. This was his 4th relapse. He has wasted away and gone blind. He is now under hospice care with 2-4 weeks to live. He said that he is sad that he has to leave, but he is not afraid. This is so sad. Please continue praying for him and his loved ones. I especially think about his mom. He worked and went to school through all of this, up until a couple months ago when he went blind. The cancer is Leukemia. He is in his early to mid-thirties. His name is Danny.

For my friend's son who has been battling cancer for years. He recently came down with pneumonia and the doctors put him in something called paralyzed sedation because his body is so worn and tired. He has a wife and child. He and his father both came down with cancer at the same time. His father passed several years ago.
Lord please have mercy on him and his family.

I will be starting college in 6 weeks. Excited, but terrified. Anxiety, panic attacks, can't drive among other things. I'm incredibly grateful- but scared.

Thanks, Matt. He has promised to email if possible, but with what he does (and he can't even tell me what he does or where he's going), I'm pretty sure it's not going to be possible (so I'm not going to hold him to that promise.) He's been instrumental in me recovering from what I went through with my ex, so I'm pretty sad to have limited access to him! I'll miss him, and I'll be praying for his safe return.

If you have the time, please include me in your prayers. In all my foolishness I broke my penance and as a result a demon of gluttony started attacking me with an aggressiveness I've never experienced before. It's getting out of control and my willpower to resist is nonexistent.

If a priest gives you a penance after confession, make sure you complete it as strictly as possible...
