CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I don't know where the prayer button went, but Lord have mercy on all who have asked for prayers.
And I don't want to make a political statement here, but I figure I can't be the only one who does not like the prospect of war with Iran that suddenly seems to be a real possibility. Is it too much to pray that the Lord soften the hearts and enlighten the minds of our leaders throughout the world -- and especially in the USA and Iran -- so that the innocent are protected from all harm?
Through the prayers of Abba John the Persian and all the saints of that region, Lord have mercy.

To add more detail to my Prayer request it's specifically for my Mom.
I was called by a family member that said that my Mom was in the hospital in intensive care and had to have surgery on her brain because of a hematoma.
My family member told me that she was found by the rail rode tracks and that they didn't know how long my Mom had been there. My family member said that they don't know if she fell or if somebody did something to her.
When I call the hospital they tell me that they can't tell me anything over the phone. They say it's because they said that she told them not to tell anyone any information before they did the surgery (Why In The World Would She Tell Them Not To Give Out Any Information ? How Could She Even Tell Them That ? That Doesn't Sound Right To Me.)
I told my family member to call the sheriff and investigate what happened.
I don't know what to do.

Update : I spoke to a friend of the family who was able visit her and she said that my Mom was able to speak but that she was a just a little confused. She can receive calls though Thank God.

Update : I talked to my Mom today and she is way more coherent.
She says that she thinks that she was assaulted. I think it was satanic people that did it and people who are apart of the same group who are harassing me.
I was walking out to my car after work and there were three people waiting for me acting like they were getting hit by a car in a mocking way. These people are the lowest of the low. They are demon possessed.
