CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I went with my husband to hospital this evening. The specialist says that it is most likely bowel cancer. He has put him on a 2 week pathway to complete the tests and remove it. I pray for healing and the Lord's blessing for him. Please pray for us both.

Not yet but thank you for asking, mp. I only see him occasionally, but he is a Christian and I trust that the Lord is healing him.

I'm sorry to hear that, mp. It must be worrying for you both. I pray that the Lord heals your husband's condition whether or not it is cancer, and for His peace for you both during this difficult time.
May I ask, is your husband a Christian?

He comes to Church with me, which is amazing after a life time of going on my own. it is a Spirit filled Church. He does believe, and has said he would like prayer on Sunday for healing.

Praying for your husband, musicalpilgrim, for healing and strength. Praying that the test results will have a good report. If he needs surgery, praying that the surgeons will be able to remove all of the health problem, for recovery and for complete healing. Praying for you for strength. Glad that your husband has been going to church with you and is having prayer for healing.

I'd appreciate prayer for an old friend of mine whom I prayed with years ago. I'm not sure if she is saved or really understands the Bible, but she has some belief in God. We talked on the phone recently, but we live far apart and seldom meet. Please would you pray that she understands Christianity properly and meets people near where she lives who can help her spiritually. Please would you also pray for her husband who is not a believer. Many thanks.
