yup, the many narrow streets amidst the hills, could cause a lot of damage

I found the river Dee to be very shallow at my last visit
leaving very-little room during floods for surface run-off to get away ANYWHERE

We are, ALL 'given choice'
we may not make choices for others
nor, deprive others, of their freedom ~to choose
Just be sure to choose wisely (using His directions)

He is disabled (physically) and living at home after orthopedic surgery.
He has rejected the faith he was raised in, and has been agnostic for many years.

Joining in prayer for your son Gail, that he will see the emptiness and error of atheism. Praying also for wisdom for you and your family to speak the right words at the right time, and to give him space to work out things for himself when he needs it. Also that the Holy Spirit will open the scriptures to him with new understanding; may he see the Life in them.

It is so very difficut, to remain silent
when in fact, your heart cries FOUL / MISTAKE / NO, NOT THAT WAY

When we judge others, by our own 'standards' we will see shortcomings
ALLOW THEM

We do not ALL OF US 'walk the same path'
IT DOESN'T MEAN THEY ARE LOST

While some, of THEM, are a blessing, others, are a lesson
DISCOVER, WHICH, IS WHICH

We do not see as the Lord sees
and yet THEY may 'fit His plan perfectly'
DO NOT DENY GOD HIS WILL AND PURPOSE

Be more forgiving ... the BEST TEACHER teaches by-example

There is no cynicism, unforgiveness or judgements....just a loving parental concern over a private matter
that cannot be completely understood by others outside of the situation.

There are times for silence ....and times for constructive discussion; the Lord leads us.

All is well; advice and feedback isn't necessary.
We merely ask for spiritual support as we wait on the Lord's perfect ways and timing in HIS PERFECT WILL for our loved one.

I meant (only) That we are to accept, that we are not in control of anyone else
That we, as individuals, choose our own ways ~this, regardless of our best wishes for them

The Lord has made them (as they are)
We can pray for them (in hope of their resurrection into faith and favour)

I'd appreciate prayer as I have had what I suspect is a spiritual attack over the last few hours, and I feel washed out. Also I am in the last six months of my degree, and am very tired of studying. The material (some of which is not compatible with Christianity) is hard to bear, but I know the Lord wants me to finish the course. Please would you pray that I can feel the Lord's love and guidance.
