I'd appreciate prayer for a homeless young man I met recently, who let me pray for him. He's caught in a vicious circle of not being able to get work because he has no address and not being able to afford accommodation because he has no work. Please pray for the Lord to move in his situation, and for him to come to know the Lord.

In our business, Lord, you have taught us never to forget those less fortunate than ourselves. We do pray for comfort for the comfortless, and provision for the needy, and most importantly for their eternal well being.

I'd appreciate prayer at the moment. I've been rather tired and emotional recently, which is distracting me from an assignment which I must get done this week. Please would you pray that the Lord helps me concentrate and I get the work done. Next week I have a holiday (the first complete week off since mid-January). I always feel a bit guilty when I have a break , so I'd appreciate prayer that I can enjoy it without guilt!! (For those who don't know I'm doing a P/T degree in my retirement.)

I know this is a superficial request, compared to some of the serious situations we face, but if someone could just lift me before the Lord for a moment I'd be grateful. Many thanks.

I recall back when I decorated the B&Q store in Brislington (Bristol)
that this would play over their speakers 50-60 times a day

At the end of my three weeks in-store, I could hear the song 'all night long'

Oh the mention of Bristol makes me happy Dave. Mum's home town, and memories of happy days - long gone but good to remember.

Sometimes those songs get very repetitious! I've worked in shops and can remember them going round and round. Anyway must get back to work, but thanks for your prayers. As soon as I get this done, I can have some holiday.

Yes, when I look back at my working on scaffolding
some 30+ feet above the heads of customers and staff
up-there (real close) to those loudspeakers, with dust sheets
spread out like an upside down tent (snow) beneath me
to catch those little specks of paint that flick off of the brush
as you rush to bring this job in 'on time'
and so make some small profit [income] I have some empathy
and respect, for those guys that paint bridges.... just WOW !!

Enjoy your time-off from one place, and just how, you 'fill' that time
with other considerations May it bring you much pleasure
