A friend and I did incline training in the dunes a couple days ago. It was definitely hard but tomorrow's going to be harder for me. Going to run 12 miles. Need to be sure to get some rest and going to take a total media fast or break this weekend. Hope everyone is well and blessed.

Excited that my first roadside sunflower has opened. The first batch of sunflowers on this new property I moved to last year, didn't work out. So late June I scrambled to get more seeds and planted in different spots in the yard.they are small but I am still happy that they are opening. I'm also happy that I got to take a good quiet time by a nearby lake this morning. Little by little I'm carving out time and renewing my mind with the word and drawing closer to the Lord.

Garden delight! I'm so in love with my Delilah's. I'm definitely going to do this next year. And it looks like my zinnias maybe coming in in time that I can have bouquets to give my neighbors. Plus some tiny sunflowers.

sampa,

The dahlia’s are gorgeous!! I love them and lilies too. You have a beautiful garden. What a blessing!

I used to walk and ride on the lake. We have a track and they kept the path clear even in winter. It was so therapeutic.

Yours in His Service,

~Bella
Thank you it's my one delight that the Lord has gifted me with. it has taken months of work of filling up a watering can and bringing it out there everyday. It looks like a weed in the beginning that I kind of wanted to pull but I was faithful expectant that something would come. it is only with the Lord's rain that they became the most beautiful that they have been. Also I think a change in the temperatures. For my first year at my place there has been some failures, which I expected. But I didn't give out and even with the failures I tried again. My sunflowers and zinnias are an example of this.
Yes I drive to the lake which is not very far for me, because it provides such wonderful scenery especially if I have to run a long distance. I'd rather see awake then Farmers combines and planes that want to spray pesticides over corn fields. Haha. Funny but not funny. I'm fortunate to have the option. My last place didn't have that option and I did not have shade and tons of corn fields.

Went to walmart at the start of summer and bought this 5000 btu for $140.00 and used it to air condition my dogs house. They have really enjoyed the cool house this summer. One other advantage was that it keeps the mosquitoes out

Today was an 11 mile run. I started at hello railroad bridge that is pictured. I made it in 2 hours and 10 minutes and had a nice meal and coffee afterwards. Discovered a college radio station in that area that I visited that was quite nice.

Nice lake views you have there. We don't have that kind of scenery round here. What type of bible is that and is there a system behind your passage choices?

Philadelphia,

Thank you! I'm definitely blessed in this move that I took a year ago here. Every address I've had though I enjoyed something and tried to make the most of it. As far as reading the book of Judges, that's only because I'm doing historical order. I've read through the Bible two times, of course at my own pace. I'm on my third time. I started the journey back in 2006.
The Bible I'm reading out of is New American Standard. But I have other versions. Just that one is a more high quality build.

Now that's an impressive pace!

Tone,

Thanks. Actually I rounded it, it was 2 hours 19 minutes. My Pace was 12 :40. The hills killed me oh, but I wasn't doing it for time. Just that I finish.

How many addresses have you had? Well it looks serene and relaxed, sleepy even. We're a harbour town so the pace is faster, tidal, and turbulent at times.

Are you studying academically? If not, this schedule will take the guesswork out and allow a holistic structure to your reading/worship/edification, and synchronise you the rest of the world... :) Saturday afternoon, ~3pm approaching end of sabbath, when the sun begins to the set I believe is the traditional historic time do this.

Philadelphos,

Maybe 35 addresses. I would have to count them up again. A lot of them were temporary summer jobs or military training. But I usually counted them if I had my mail sent there. Sounds interesting with the harbour Town, I've never lived or visited a harbor Town. yes I'm in a small town so the pace is a lot slower and some people have described it as a step back in time. There's a lot of Victorian architecture where I live and Gothic. Gargoyles seem to be a theme on some of the houses and the courthouse.

At this time I'm not studying academically but it doesn't mean I'm not learning. Believe it or not I feel like I'm in a fast-paced learning world by getting to know other people and online dating. not just relationally but the things they have introduced me to to. Architecture, cars, apologetics,, reformed thinking, a variety of different things I learned from different people.

Enjoy your Sabbath. I'm guessing that you are Messianic Christian?

Flowers I will give my mom today. Wasn't sure if my zinnias would turn out this year. New place in New soil. Even though I had a failure with the first batch, I scurried at the end of June to buy more seeds. The same with the sunflowers the rabbits ate them. And then my Delilah's I wasn't sure since it was my first time. But it looks like I might have enough to give my neighbors. I gave them last year as my introduction, and it created a friendly atmosphere. I'm praying that there will be an abundance so that I can reach out to some other neighbors I never had a chance because of time.
