This weekend was a weekend I needed for my mental health and just to feel completely free. I went hiking on Friday (check out the pictures below), had a bonfire with friends on Saturday AND Sunday, and today, enjoyed a Memorial Day picnic with my family!

The view of and from the hatch window of my berth/bedroom whilst sailing in Australia last break. Sleeping through storms, and fire, waking to a cacophony of chattering prawns on the sea bed, heard through my pillow. And the calm gentle waters in the early morning hours.

Having a 1litre/quart water ration for drinking and washing meant that laundry day was bliss, esp after wearing the same clothes for weeks. Everything including bedding damp and saturated by salt water.

Beautiful quiet time at a lake this morning. Finishing up the book of Joshua. It was a great catch up time with the Lord.
