If this was about the response to a disaster, rather then complaining about appropriations you disapprove of that have no connection to federal government aid for disasters, a comparison of the amount of support sent and speed of response would be a good gauge of the response. It’s disingenuous to blurt out “but Ukraine!” when sending aide there isn’t sighted as a reason for less spending on other needs. Its like me sighing drug prohibition spending, something im opposed to, as a reason other things aren’t being funded at levels I would like even if there no connection.Ha!
