Whatever. You're viewing it through your theologically tinted glasses. The question wasn't addressed to you.Since according to you, anyone practicing sin is not born again, how many times now have you been born again? . . . . . makes more sense.

matt 18:21 Then came Peter to him, and said Lord, How often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? seven times?
matt 18:22 Jesus said unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but until seventy times seven.
how many times will God forgive without asking.... wow
What do you mean, "without asking"? Where is "not asking" for forgiveness implied?
Matt 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the self righteous, but sinners .
romans 4:5
1jn 3:2 Beloved, now are we the children of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.
Don't add words to the passage. "self" is nowhere found in it.
so is it God's righteousness or self righteousness...
in the greek it states this....
Righteousness from man, pleasing to God that allows God to call him "blameless".
"Noah was a righteous man, blameless among his contemporaries; Noah walked with God."
Genesis 6:9
ministers of righteousness .. 2 cor 11:15
what kind romans 10:3 their own
Stick with Noah. Was he are not, righteous??? Explain him away if you can, then I'll give you 25 more in the OT to do the same with..
GEN 6 ... READ FOR YOURSELF
ido not have a bible at this time...
but what is your point in trying to railroad the subject at hand
If the train is traveling with only one wheel on the track it will never start to get to where it is intended to go.
this is a verse of brother in Christ sinning against one another.... the one offended need to forgive...
Not send them to Hell the second time ... as Ben Johnson preaches
Since according to you, anyone practicing sin is not born again, how many times now have you been born again? . . . . . makes more sense.
I don't think that originated with nbf ... No one born of God makes a practice of sinning 1 Jn 3:9Ah, Scripture. The main reason for being a Calvinist.
My question was, why should one expect forgiveness without being required to ask for it?
matt 18:21 Then came Peter to him, and said Lord, How often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? seven times?
matt 18:22 Jesus said unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but until seventy times seven.
how many times will God forgive without asking.... wow
God died for all sins once .. heb 10:17-19
Does that mean I can keep sinning? It won't matter? Is forgiveness unconditional? Is forgiveness even an issue by His death. Or is His death but the doorway to forgiveness? And if I know that it is, must I not walk through it?
Man goes to hell for unbelief not sins
Belief or unbelief in what or whom?
Does the righteous man [not self-righteous] go to hell because he never heard of Jesus Christ?
If you believe that I have to say you don't understand what redemption is.
What is the definition of a righteous man?
Is it possible to do so by keeping the law?
Is it possible to keep the law - all of it - after faith?
But it is still possible for such a person of "faith" to sin though - would you agree?
One who honors God by and with his life. Job was a good example.
not nesseccary for salvation thou ... God perfers it but not a requirement
