i'm from plainfield CT originally. but now i live in Tennessee. man it totally sucks here. i miss CT. there is nothing to do and even though there are TONS of christians here. its relaly hard to find a spirit filled church where ppl are actually there for GOD not just for a social club. and yeah people are friendly....but its hard to find friends. back home i ALWAYS had tons of friends was always meeting new ppl and everything and here i have no friends. it really sucks i miss home..

Hi All,

Just checking in from the beautiful State of Connecticut. ;)

Wish there were more Christians in this area. Actually, seems like the entire Northeast is kind of dead spiritually. I have a theory about this... The Northeast is very affluent, on a per capita basis. Why would you want to know God if you think you can make it on your own?

Just a thought. Not trying to sound judgmental, believe me. I turned my back on God for a long time. It just saddens me so much.

Well, anywho, glad to meet y'all...

Howdy i am from Maine Gardiner to be exact!!!!

Finally, someone from my hometown. Hi. I was born and raised in Gardiner, and I grew up just up the road from the church you attend. Someday, the good Lord willing, I'll get back to my hometown, but for now I call Unity home.

Glad to meet you.

Greetings,

Hey, can I call myself a New Englander? I guess anyone can call themselves anything they want, right, it's just a matter of whether it's true or not.

I grew up in New Jersey. I've always been proud of that even through some people slam NJ every which way.

the "Garden State? Where the gardens?!" ... "Which exit?" ... "worst place I ever smelled." Oh, so you were near Newark? And of course the Sopranos takes place mainly in NJ.

But ya know what it's a state that has its drawbacks - like ANY state but it also has a lot that's great about it.

And ya know what what? This is about New Englanders and the reason I came here was to say I was born in Nashua, New Hampshire. Although I only lived there whole 3 months (oh, what great memories I have!) I do consider myself a New Englander, a kid raised in New Jersey and now an Alaskan. My last time in New England was fall 2000, spent a month in Conway, NH and I hope to return soon. It's a beautiful part of America!

Well, adios, God Bless, Happy Holidays & Merry Christmas!
Chris from Fairbanks, AK, raised in NJ, born in New England!
