It's hot. And sunny. And more sunny. I really miss the rain. Idaho's a nice state otherwise :) Good scenery, once you get to the forested bits (otherwise it's very dry). People are friendly, laid back straightforward types with not so much of a chip on their collective shoulder. And my husband being a native northwester is SOOOOO much more relaxed here. You wouldn't believe how stressed out he got living in Boston.
Guess it takes one raised in NE to be comfortable there...

I've lived in Mass all my life until recently and am still very UNcomfortable with the level of rudeness and selfishness up in this corner of the world. Especially on the roads!! When I visit the midwest or south, people are genuinely FRIENDLY. Without any reason! Up here, I smile and say hello to practically everyone and a lot of times people don't respond. Or they do but warily, like I'm gonna mug them any second. (You don't get less scarier looking than me) It takes a lot of effort not to become angry and cynical and drive like an absolute moron. But even so...

I love New England!!

Do not buy a vacation home in Vermont. They don't need more second homes artificially inflating the prices of real estate to where real vermonters can't afford to buy homes any more. Go away, stay in CT. Better yet, buy a home in RI. Thank you for your consideration. :)

I got to meet...uh...talk to Wesley John on the phone Friday night! Of course the cell phone had to skip out a bunch of times, but we managed to get in "Hello, it's nice to meet you, and goodbye." Ah well, it was still totally cool to talk to ya John!

Hi from Utah!

Ummmm, I really miss Humpty Dumpty potato chips, Oakhurst Dairy, Shaws & Hannaford supermarkets, West Lynn Creamery butter, and most of all my friends and family. No regrets, though. Ok, I regret not shipping a case of potato chips to oldrooster before I left Maine. ;)

Regards to everyone!

Nice to talk to you too Kristi! :)

I wasn't even sure if Jon explained to you who it was that you were being introduced too.... :)
He sure did. He was like "The guy that's Wesley John on CF is here!" Then I talked to you. :)

Wow, it is already frosty? That is crazy.

I must admit that I really missed the fall. I grew up in Rhode Island. Last year, I was living in Los Angeles. I just moved to Providence two weeks ago. The fall foliage is absolutely breathtaking!
