Hoo haw, I suppose.

I'm a Massachusetts myself, I did know Maine broke away from Mass a while ago. I remember someone telling me that Mass allowed it because we thought to ourselves, "They're all just like us in Maine anyway, so it'll be kind of like we get some extra Senate votes." We're crafty that way. ;)

Yeah, PetraFan, you may be right. Cuz it surely isn't because New Englanders aren't forum geeks like everyone else on the planet!

Hi Ranter! How's life up north?

What's new peoples?! Some hot and sticky and all around gross weather these couple of days, huh? I'm heading for the beach tomorrow to swim the humidity away!!

It makes me quite angry and frustrated that there are not many born again Christians in New England (compared to other parts of the country), but this is another can of worms. Anyways, what a post for my 300th. Heh! :)

I can't complain about the weather. I'll take humidity over rain any day. Plus, if I get too hot all I have to do is go down to the lake. :p

Kristi, you are lucky! I used to live 15 minutes from the ocean and got a bit spoiled. I'm a half hour away now, and it's not as easy to just jump in the car and go, especially if I can't find a parking spot!!

PetraFan, it's abominable that NE is so dry. It's a veritable Spiritual wasteland. I visited relatives in Florida last year and couldn't believe how many cars with fish on them were going by and how many Christian radio stations there are. Up here, it's almost a guarantee that if you even say "God" or "Jesus" or even "church" in everyday conversation, people look at you like you're a zealot. Kinda lonely sometimes, huh?

I wouldn't say it's terribly dry (says the pagan), I'm sitting right in between a Baptist, a Methodist, and a Catholic church, each one can be described as "Just down the street". The Baptist one is the best, I live in a pretty black neighborhood and they've got some of that ole Southern flair going on.

On the other hand, what are you people crazy!? What this region needs is some torrential downpour. In fact, I don't think I would have any aversion to a hurricane right about now.

It totally is knuckle! It's so liberal up here and angry. A lot of anger around here. You must really see it where you live, right near Boston. I always get the heebie jeebies driving anywhere near Boston, esp. 93, 128 & 495. Scary stuff!
