Did anyone else get all this snow? I'm so excited! Chris and I are taking his little girl out to play in the snow for her first time today! She's going to love it!

I love snow, and the best part about it is it warms up after it snows! :D

Yeah, bring on the snow! Today's weather was a bit bizarro. I live in the Seacoast area of NH and work in MA and always deal with two different weather zones. At home was snow and icy rain and at work, rain all day.
Oh well...
Maybe we'll get a nice blizzard soon!

northwest CT checking in..... man this thread is slow.. oh well

Raised in NY (near Saratoga), college in OK, living in CT

As for the whole spiritually cold thing, the southwest likes to refer to us as a "missions" area. For some reason they keep sending people, and not much ever happens. Kinda stems from the same place that the whole red/blue state issue came from. I've actually had no problem finding churches in the areas of CT/NY/MA I've been in... just depends on what you are looking for. Plenty of Catholic, Methodist, Lutheran, etc.... not a lot of the more recent non-denominational flavors. While finding the groups is easy, finding the one I have been looking for... that has been more difficult.... *sigh*

Hello again from NH. Spring sure is taking its dear sweeeeet time up here, huh? I hear more snow on the way next week. Oh well. In August when we can't move because of the heat, we'll wish we could jump in a snowbank or something!! :)

I'm sick of snow now, it can melt away right now for all I care. It's caused nothing but trouble with my car, it's the reason Ben has been in NYC for 3 months and I'm sick of being bitterly cold!

Only 17 more days until spring and my birthday! I can't wait!

I was born in New England (Hartford, CT) but don't live that way any more - but could I still check in periodically? I'll send you some sun from AZ if you send me some beautiful fall colors when it's time :) Deal?

Send some nice pink desert sand too and you've got yourself a deal. :D
It's so cold today (and yesterday). I don't have much motivation to go walking in the snowy woods at 6 am when it's this bitter. Hopefully the weekend will warm up before we get another snowstorm.

So. What else is going on with everyone besides snow? It seems that's all we really do talk about up here in N.E. I've got a women's conference to attend up in North Conway NH tomorrow - I'm joining a friend who's leading worship; I'll be whaling on the conga and generally making a racket on percussion! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend...
