They aren't fossils.Uh huh. Please explain how in this different state past chalk was formed without fossilisation. Be specific.
In that case please explain how you get shells of dead animals before things started dying. They aren't fossils.
They are the shells of animals that died.
What?In that case please explain how you get shells of dead animals before things started dying.
Huh? In post 29 you tell us the flood was in 2348BC, but we're talking about white cliffs visible in 4004BC.What?
Them things perished in the Flood.
All of 'em.
And God swept they shells all up into a nice neat pile and left 'em there.
Chalk one up for Him, eh?
You're transported back to the year 4004 BC.
Please answer YES or NO to the following items you would expect to see:
1. a yellow sun
2. thorns & thistles
3. a moon with craters
4. fossils
5. white cliffs, meandering streams, polystrate fossils
6. stalactites & stalagmites
7. rain
8. Egypt, Iran, China
9. five continents
10. polar ice caps
11. more than one ocean
Aren't Asia and Europe the same Continental plate? All of them, except for Number 9; there are actually seven continents (Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Europe, Australasia, Antarctica).
So what's the problem?EDIT: Just to be clear on what has been said so far:
AV's question "would you see white cliffs in 4004BC"
Justa's response "Yes"
My question "Please explain how those white cliffs were formed in 4004BC"
AV's response "They were formed in 2348BC"
But you're answering for Justa. Your answer is nonsensical in context. And his answer is not forthcoming, so I'll chalk (get it?) that up as another error he's walking away from rather than admitting. So what's the problem?
Justa is entitled to his opinion, and I'm entitled to mine.
Obviously it took less than a day to ...How long did Adam spend in the garden naming all the animals?
Why?Anyone who thinks Adam could name all the animals in a day can be dismissed as ignoring reality.
Which has nothing to do with 4004 BC.Justatruthseeker said:Then there is the question for the punishment for sin.
Obviously it took less than a day to ...
Genesis 2:20a And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field;
Since Adam did the naming between the time he was created, and the time Eve was created.
And since both Adam and Eve were created on the same day, it took less than a day to name them.
I do not care to discuss anything that happened (or didn't happen) after 28 October 4004 BC in this thread.
Aren't Asia and Europe the same Continental plate?
My question still stands, no matter how inconvenient you find it. How did the white cliffs form when nothing died?I answered..... you are just ignoring the answer as is AV.
How long did Adam spend in the garden naming all the animals?
You refuse to consider it, AV fails to realize the counting of Adam’s life (4004 BC) does not start until “after” Adam is expelled from the garden. Anyone who thinks Adam could name all the animals in a day can be dismissed as ignoring reality. On either side....
Then there is the question for the punishment for sin. How does Adam comprehend the punishment for disobedience if he doesn’t observe animals living out their lives and dying?
Adam spent an untold number of centuries in the garden.....
But then no one ever asks how long Adam spent in the garden naming all the animals...... sigh.....
My question still stands, no matter how inconvenient you find it. How did the white cliffs form when nothing died?
That's your view. It is not shared by all, so perhaps you should let those who don't share that view answer for themselves.Darkness or death was present before the 1st Day. Genesis 1:2 It was upon everything that God brought into the physical world, which was made apart from God, some 23 Billion years ago, in man's time. ANYthing apart from God is subject to death/darkness/entropy.
That's your view. It is not shared by all, so perhaps you should let those who don't share that view answer for themselves.
Well then if Adam giving names to all the animals really doesn’t mean “all” then why not go with just a local flood or why stick to the day interpretation at all? Why?
Just how many cattle, fowl, and beast were there at the time?
And since when does that triad (cattle, beast, fowl) constitute "all the animals"?
Sure it does. We have had this conversation before about how Adam comprehends what the punishment for sin is (death) when no word can exist to describe a state people say didn’t exist...... without having observed death, no comprehension of that state can exist.....Which has nothing to do with 4004 BC.
