By the way, the term is "realists" not evolutionists. Do you call someone that accepts the fact of gravity a "gravitationalist"?

Yes, I am a "Gravitationist" or "Gravitist" I prefer. Also a Quantumist. Cool! What else?

The link below is a simple explanation of transitional fossils with a couple of examples. It’s produced by the University of California at Berkeley.
Transitional forms

This is a list of several hundred transitional fossils with links to original material.
List of transitional fossils - Wikipedia

This is a link to Biologos – a respected scientific organisation run by practising Christians. They accept the Theory of Evolution and the concept of transitional fossils.
BioLogos - God's Word. God's World.

I await your rebuttal with considerable interest.
OB
I couldn't find any species transitional creatures in those links. They just showed some climatic adaptation by the same species, it like a farm pig growing longer hair and tusks after it escapes into the wild.
This is not a transition from one species to another, it's just natural adaptation and it has nothing to do with evolution.
As for those who want to mix scientific theories with proven Bible fact, that's something they need to come to terms with. We can't force anyone to agree with anyone else on anything, everyone fabricates a truth that fits their agenda.

Individual organisms don't evolve, populations do, from one generation to another. You knew that or before you wrote your post not?

Fossils are dead, so even individual organisms did evolve (they don't for the record), the fossils we found would still not be evolving. You knew that before you wrote your post or not?
We need to understand the difference between "adaptation", which is a natural reaction of any living creature when it's climate changes. Your skin color would adapt to a hot sunny climate by producing more melanin, so that's not evolution.
The secular scientists (evolutionists) would have us believe that one species can evolve into another, such as a pig evolving into a monkey. There's absolutely ZERO!! evidence for any such theory.

*laughs* ummm do you even know what a fossil transitioning into another would look like? Because we have them all the time, this sounds like the people that expect a crocoduck, then get upset when they see feathered dinosaurs. If you don't think transitioning fossils don't exist, tell me what one would look like.
I would like just one single example, we still haven't found a single one of the billions of fossils found so far. So I won't hold my breath waiting for you to produce one :)

A Christian believes what God has said, but he need not believe what you say God has said.
If you believe what God has said, then you can't believe in evolution. God said He created the world in 6 days, so if you don't believe that then we have nothing to discuss.

your the one saying they don't exist, tell me what that would entail? Because there are tons of fossils as was pointed out that we would classify as transistional, so you must explain your criteria, or your just being contrarian.

How is this not tarnsitional? it's a dinosaur with feathers, it fits the known transition between dinosaur and birds we've known for years.

or

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipe...lik_NT_small.jpg/220px-Tiktaalik_NT_small.jpg

and others, those fit the definition as those climactic adaptions as you say fit exactly what we already predicted before they were found to fit within evolution. So far nothing we've found doesn't fit the evolutionary tree of life, and many of them prove it. Funny how dinosaurs had feathers.

Believe it or not, some dinosaurs had feathers and they could actually fly. You would need to find a fossil of the same species, before it evolved into a bird.

The definition of a transitional fossil is simply a fossil that shows intermediary characteristics between two taxa. In that respect, there are thousands of identified transitional fossils.

Unless you're claiming those fossils don't exist in the first place, then they do exist. Whether you accept evolution or not is irrelevant to the fact that, based on the definition of said fossils, transitional fossils exist.

You didn't answer my question. So I 'll make it easier for you. Why did you use the phrase
we have never found a single fossil of a species in transition from one species to another.

When the ToE states that individuals don't "transition", but that happens from generation to generation?
Did you know before you posted that post or not?

Not sure what exactly you're arguing against, because it ain't evolution since evolution doesnt say pigs can evolve into monkeys either.

The fact is that all fossils are examples of transitional species (except, perhaps, the representatives of extinction events).

E.T.A. I can't contribute more here. The thread has moved to a forum I am not permitted to comment in - not for the first time...

what malarchy does that even mean? Thats literally gobbledygook, those dinosaurs are dinosaurs before they became birds, thats literally what they are.....see you have no clue what your looking for or you wouldn't say that.

It's funny how creationists have changed their tune on this. Go back a couple decades, and most creationists would argue that anything with feathers was a bird; period.

But as scientists uncovered more fossils, it became more difficult to deny the reality of feathered dinosaurs.

I'm sure scientists at one time were in agreement as well.

Yup, but they did not deny the clear evidence when it was presented to them. Well some probably did. Scientists are human too. That is why there are very clear and specific rules on scientific evidence. That was one thing that no scientist could deny.

So what's the deal then?

Should the general public just automatically accept what scientists tell them as soon as they hear it?

Can't there be a "probationary period" between the experts and the laity?

After all, scientists would acquire this "inside information" before it gets propagated to the general audience.

How many people on your street would agree, for example, that Caudipteryx even existed?

And then they found out Pluto lacked feathers... (that's a joke not an invitation)

It will have to be many decades --- the first feathered dino was discovered 16 decades ago.

Oh yes we have. You denied my faith and the faith of close on two billion Christians like me, not to mention the faith of billions more who have gone to their reward before us. You can't just slide out out from under a monstrous thing like that by saying "nothing to discuss." If you want to believe in a six-day creation go right ahead, no one will stop you. But you don't own the Bible and are in no position to dictate to other Christians what they must believe about it.
