If anyone would mind answering this I quick question.... It’s kinda off the topic ..... but i have a friend who is Mormon ..she always seems stress out about everything... see is always worried about.. about grades .. she is one of those people that has to get a 4.0 in every year. But any ways she said something about having to work to get to heaven and about different levels and it was really confusing. My question is if you have to work to get to heaven would life be meaningless? would you be worry about which level your going to everyday? I mean i miss up everyday..i try not to preach in anyway... ( IM not saying its ok but i know IM going to heaven ) i am sorry if i said anything that would affected anyone im not trying to mix things up in anyway !!!

Thanks for your time

"Faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things. Therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true." -Alma 32:21

Why is there so much hatred between everyone. It is not our place to judge anyone. It is God's. Does it really matter what one person or the other believes? At least everyone has something to believe in. No one should bash anyone's beliefs. Instead of all of this back and forth you're right, I'm wrong stuff, why don't we all find something to agree on? How about the fact that LIFE IS GREAT!!!! May God Bless all of you! :O)

And how exactly do you know that it's not true? Is your faith really that strong? Have you read the Book Of Mormon, and with full intent in seeking the truth? Have you taken Moroni's challenge? By the way, don't try to mock me, or use my words against me. It's all the "True Christians" on this board seem to know how to fire back, and trust me, it's not very impressive. LOL

I dont think you realize what Im saying. In the most basic sense Im saying if this was the case then it does matter. I especially said this since it coincides with your beliefs (or at least the base of your beliefs). And Im not mocking you, Im explaining myself and asking where you believe I made that accusation, which Im still waiting for an answer from you about that.

No,

1. Im not going to read a book of another religion when I can spend that time reading the Holy Bible.

2. Many things of the Book of Mormon and the NT contradict, so why even read something for the intent of learning if thats the true religion? Especially when the Holy Bible says that if any additions to the bible were given by an Angel (which was what the Golden tablets were given by), then they are false.

It would be foolish of me to take this challenge, and now that I have answered your question, may you answer mine.

How would you know it contradicts if you haven't read it? Does everyone on this board always believe what they here. And if you;re so busy learning about the Bible... what are you doing here Mormon bashing with no substance WHATSOEVER? Looks like you're contradicting yourself. Now, which question is it you would like answered?

Ahem *butts in*

Ya know nessa8223 made a good point against your claim that the Book of Mormon and the NT contradict.....how on earth would you possibly KNOW that it contradicts when you've never read it???? You dont know, cuz you've never read it. So why would you even make a claim that you dont even know is true or not???? Its "foolish" of you to make a comment when you really have no clue what your talking about. I think it wold be ten times less foolish of you to actually learn about these claims and find out if they are true or not and then you will know and then you can make a valid claim and then you wouldnt look so silly.

Hold on Raven, Im not done yet, and I do know the origins of Mormonism, it doesnt take me reading the whole Mormon book to know that.
I never said you didnt know the origins. Please read my posts carefully cuz those words were never written.
I said "how can you know that the Book of Mormon contradicts the OT when you have never read the book of Mormon?"
And no, your right, it doesnt take reading the Book of Mormon to know the origins, but it does take reading the Book of Mormon to know if the Book of Mormon contradicts the OT.

Crispie... would you be referring to the very last chapter in the book of Revelation? Just curious?

He won't read the book of Mormon because he knows there IS truth to it, but mommy and daddy probably told him that's a no no.

For being such a young one, you seem to think you know everything.

Crispie said:
look, the origins of Mormonism CONTRADICT what the bible says about additions to the bible and new books/letters, and other new teachings of God.
Thats right.
Galatians 1
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

2 john :10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Remember Crispie, Paul said this
1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

The word Good, means sound doctrine. Don't let others shake you, if you tell them the truth.
2 Thessalonians :2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
