I'm somewhat of a L&O junkie and have kept up with the cast changes over the years. My question to other L&O addicts, out there. Which L&O series do you like?( Law & Order, SVU, CI) And which characters do you like? My favorite line-up on the original L&O is the current one with Dennis Farina, Jesse L. Martin, S. Epatha Merkerson, Sam Waterston, Annie Parisse, and my favorite: Fred Dalton Thompson. Your thoughts.

I too love L&O. Original and spin-offs. My favorite though is SVU. I like the way they have had the same characters and the characters have a close bond with their partners. Especially Benson (M. Hargitay) and Stabler (C. Meloni). How ther characters are so close. They are good friends and partners, yet they never let and romance into the situation. They are just real good friends. They never had sex, or even implied anything more than being friends. And, they work the cases good together and they take care of each other.
Fin and Munch also. They compliment each other as partners and friends.
I have to say though, the original L&O has not been the same without Lenny (J. Orbach).

Yeah, Orbach's witty comebacks were patented. However, don't discount Farina's character, yet. Fontana and Green seem to be working out very well. BTW, If McCoy does leave, who would you like to se as EADA? I'd like to see either Robinette return or Randy Mantooth in the role as a new EADA.

My favourite L&O is definitely SVU, I've never really been able to get into the original or the other spinoffs.

I don't like the original or TBJ, but I love CI and SVU. I like Elliot and the guy in CI whose name I forget...
