Of course lawless acts committed during the riots were criminal. They broke the law. But you are trying to put defunding the police in the same category. It isn’t. It is a stupid thing to do, but it isn’t a crime.

Yet the results of defunding the police which caused a spike in shootings and murders and is a very stupid thing to do and is criminal. Not allowing the police to do their jobs which causes an increase in acts of lawlessness is criminal, which we saw in various cities during the protests. The mayors, governors and senators of those cities and states should be ashamed of themselves!

Anytime he wants to drop it that would be fine. He’s the one who tried to make it look like I said that defunding the police was “no big deal” when I never said any such thing. Instead I’ve said over and over that defunding the police was not a smart thing to do.

It's been my personal experience with Trump supporters that they will resort to disparaging and petty name-calling whenever they feel that they can't win an argument concerning Trump. Regrettably, this behavior includes Christians, which reflects poorly on their Christian witness and taints the reputation of other Christians. As a conservative Christian myself, I've had to purposely distance myself from the conservative Christians who support Trump. I've had to make it very clear to some people that I don't politically support him. I've had to make it clear that I'm staunchly opposed to Trump and Trumpism.
