I'll put this again for you to see, Jesus never once placed blame on the flesh,

Matthew 5:29-30

And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Mark 14:38

Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.

Romans 8:3

3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

So, what's the big deal? You seem to want to blame yourself for your sins rather than forgive yourself and others.

or said one is deceived if breaking His commandments.
Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.
John 8:34 34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

John 8:44
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?

34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

Ephesians 2:2-4

2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
He holds us accountable for our own actions.
Luke 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
Where does it say anyone was deceived, we should not add to the Bible, its something we are told not to,
Romans 7:11
For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.
Titus 3:3
For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
Revelation 12:9
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
but let God direct our paths and He does through His clear Word.
Of course, because God is a trustworthy Master and sin is a lying master.

Its about our choices, because God loves us so much He gave us free will.
We need to qualify our terms. The term choice has two meanings ---> choice/option and choice/decision. The mind tends to conflate the two, but we shouldn't do that because only choice/decision is applicable to the will.

The term "will' in scripture alludes to one's desire as to what they "want/desire" to do. The carnal will is in enmity with the spiritual will in mankind so there are TWO opposing wills that we experience in the moral/immoral paradigm.

When we reason or deliberate between pros and cons, we're relying upon and reasoning upon what we believe to be true.
If what we believe to be true is in reality a lie, then that will affect our choice/decision.
So, in the moral/immoral paradigm, the carnal mind reasons differently than the spiritual mind, that is to say the carnal mind reasons upon different pros and con than the spiritual mind.

And it also depends on how one qualifies the adjective "Free". Free from what? With that in mind, when I'm talking about the moral/immoral paradigm, I believe the only truly free will is the will that is free from sin ---> 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. To be clear, I would NOT consider a will/desire that was the product of believing a lie, and which is deceived into serveing sin, a free will.

The will God gave Adam before sin entered in I would say was a free will, not yet corrupted by sin. Subsequently, I don't believe God would give me a will that chooses to sin.
Life is all about choices.
If I'm standing I could have been sitting, Yes life is choice/options which we navigate through with our choice/decisions.
And we will be Judged on those choices. We have to take accountability for our own actions. Sinning is a choice. We can't blame someone else for them, we are all accountable for what we do. 2 Cor 5:10
My choice is to not judge so as to condemn others, even because I know that when I sinned I had believed something untrue. I know this because I was sorry afterward. If you think you chose to sin because you believed the truth and that you were not decieved, that's your choice.

Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:

Fear God and keep His commandments,
For this is man’s all.

14 For God will bring every work into judgment,
Including every secret thing,
Whether good or evil.

Rev 22:14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
Here are some commandments:

Matthew 5
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Matthew 6
14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Matthew 7
7 Judge not, that ye be not judged.

2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Friend, I think its best for me to bow out. Many of these Scriptures we have already went through and repeating ourselves doesn't seem like its helping, so I will leave it as agree to disagree. I wish you well in seeking Truth to God's Word. Take care

Exactly, which includes the 4th commandment. Exo 20:8-11
Does it include Heb 4:8-10:

"God spoke later about another Sabbath. There remains then a Sabbath-rest for the people of God" entered by faith in his Son, where the believer ceases his efforts to gain salvation by his own works and rests in the finished work of Christ on the cross.

God said He would not edit His commandments Deut 4:2 Mat 5:18 Psa 89:34 so no Scripture can contradict God and it doesn’t. Why no Scripture says another Sabbath, no Scripture says Jesus is the Sabbath. It’s all man-made doctrine leading people away from God’s Truth. All will get sorted out soon enough.

The conscience of the born again by the Holy Spirit doesn't need a definition for the love of God.
Your comment here implies we don't need the Bible which is the Word of God. So we said...
Then throw your Bible out
So rather than accept the point to which we were trying to convey, you chose to try to defend your original statement and say...
You love God and you need rules to tell you not to use his name disrespectfully or worship other Gods?

I don't.
And then I slighted you hoping that would lead you back... in which was also said...
Not taking the Lord's name in vain has nothing really to do with using it in profanity as much as it does calling yourself a Christian and not living up to the family name.
If we call ourselves Christians we claim ourselves God's children and Take the Family name. Let us not take it in Vain and dishonor our Father and our Mother the Church in Christ.

Behold all is new and of God.
Man is in no position to improve upon God's word as given.
Remember this conversation started because you invertedly claimed you do not need the Bible, rules to tell you... That is really the issue here. Most who profess God don't even bother to open the Bible let alone get past the surface of that which it conveys.

The word of God is so deep. As Jesus sermon on the Mt. brings out when he was speaking to the masses. Who by the way due to society knew the Word of God fairly well because the Word of God told them they must and the social norms back then backed this up with ostracizing if one did not. But even so, they knew not what He shared.... sad.

In respect to which you say is my interpretation,

Matt 5:33 Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:

Lev 19:12 And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.

Here, please read some commentary on the 3rd. What was wrote to you was not from Benson's work. But nonetheless here...

Benson Commentary
Exodus 20:7. The third commandment is concerning the manner of our worship: where we have, 1st, A strict prohibition. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain — Supposing that, having taken Jehovah for their God, they would make mention of his name, this command gives a caution not to mention it in vain, and it is still as needful as ever. We take God’s name in vain, 1st, By hypocrisy, making profession of God’s name, but not living up to that profession. 2d, By covenant-breaking. If we make promises to God, and perform not to the Lord our vows, we take his name in vain. 3d, By rash swearing, mentioning the name of God, or any of his attributes, in the form of an oath, without any just occasion for it, to no good purpose, or to no good. 4th, By false swearing, which some think is chiefly intended in the letter of the commandment. 5th, By using the name of God lightly and carelessly. The profanation of the form of devotion is forbidden, as well as the profanation of the forms of swearing; as also, the profanation of any of those things whereby God makes himself known. For the Lord will not hold him guiltless — Magistrates, that punish other offences, may not think themselves concerned to take notice of this; but God, who is jealous for his honour, will not connive at it. The sinner may perhaps hold himself guiltless, and think there is no harm in it; to obviate which suggestion, the threatening is thus expressed, God will not hold him guiltless. But more is implied, that God will himself be the avenger of those that take his name in vain; and they will find it a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Nor was it from the Pulpit Commentary, but here...

Pulpit Commentary
Verse 7. - Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain. It is disputed whether this is a right rendering. Shav in Hebrew means both "vanity" and ,'falsehood;" so that the Third Commandment may forbid either "vain-swearing" or simply "false-swearing. It is in favor of the latter interpretation, that our Lord seems to contrast his own prohibition of unnecessary oaths with the ancient prohibition of false oaths in the words - "Ye have heard that it hath been said by" (or "to") "them of old time - Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shelf perform unto the Lord thine oaths. But I say unto you - Swear not at all" (Matthew 5:33-34). It is also in favour of the command being levelled against false-swearing, that perjury should naturally, as a great sin, have a special prohibition directed against it in the Decalogue, while vain-swearing, as a little sin, would scarcely seem entitled to such notice. Perjury has always been felt to be one of the greatest both of moral and of social offences. It implies an absolute want of any reverence at all for God; and it destroys civil society by rendering the administration of justice impossible. There has been a general horror of it among all civilised nations. The Egyptians punished perjury with death. The Greeks thought that a divine Nemesis pursued the perjured man, and brought destruction both upon himself and upon his offspring .(Herod. 6:86). The Romans regarded the perjurer as infamous, and the object of Divine vengeance in the other world (Cic. De Leg. 2:9). The threat contained in the words - "The Lord will not hold him guiltless" - may be taken as an argument on either side. If viewed as equivalent to "the Lord will punish severely" (Kalisch), it accords best with the view that perjury was intended; if taken literally, it would suit best a lesser sin, of which men ordinarily think little. Exodus 20:7

And here...

Barnes' Notes on the Bible
Our translators make the Third commandment bear upon any profane and idle utterance of the name of God. Others give it the sense, "Thou shalt not swear falsely by the name of Jehovah thy God." The Hebrew word which answers to "in vain" may be rendered either way. The two abuses of the sacred name seem to be distinguished in Leviticus 19:12 (see Matthew 5:33). Our King James Version is probably right in giving the rendering which is more inclusive. The caution that a breach of this commandment incurs guilt in the eyes of Yahweh is especially appropriate, in consequence of the ease with which the temptation to take God's name "in vain" besets people in their common conversation with each other.

Take care...

And there we have it. . .

Denial of the plain NT text.

The author of Hebrews did not disobey God and edit His commandments 20 years after the Cross, because God said no editing Deut 4:2 Mat 5:18-19 Psa 89:34

Here is this passage, not once says another Sabbath and we are told not to add to God's Word Pro 30:5-6

Heb 4:8 For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day.
9 There remains therefore a rest for the people of God.
10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.

The Greek word in Heb 4:8 is not about the Sabbath rest, the Sabbath rest is according to the commandment Luke 23:56. The commandment God said the Sabbath is on the seventh day Exo 20:10

There are two different rests Hebrews is referring to not one.

The Greek word used in verse 8 is not the Sabbath

katapauó: To cause to rest, to bring to a stop, to quiet
Original Word: καταπαύω
Part of Speech: Verb
Transliteration: katapauó
Pronunciation: kat-ap-ow'-o
Phonetic Spelling: (kat-ap-ow'-o)
Definition: To cause to rest, to bring to a stop, to quiet
Meaning: (a) trans: I cause to rest, bring to rest; I cause to refrain, (b) intrans: I rest.

Word Origin: From the Greek preposition "kata" (meaning "down" or "against") and the verb "pauó" (meaning "to cease" or "to stop").

Hebrews 8 is a continuation of verse 7. Both are speaking about OT and there was no changing the Sabbath in the Old Testament. The rest being referred to was their rest into Canaan, it is also an allegory of us entering our rest into heaven at His Second Coming. Many did not enter due to disobedience Heb 4:6 Heb 4:11 and many did not keep the Sabbath Eze 20:13.

Verse 8 is continuing of the first verse in Hebrews

Heb 4:1 Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it.

Strong's Lexicon
katapausis: Rest
Original Word: κατάπαυσις
Part of Speech: Noun, Feminine
Transliteration: katapausis
Pronunciation: kah-tah'-pow-sis
Phonetic Spelling: (kat-ap'-ow-sis)
Definition: Rest
Meaning: (in the Old Testament of the rest attained by the settlement in Canaan), resting, rest, dwelling, habitation.

And if we go to OT what this verse is referring to, the days of Joshua, we see the rest being referred to

Jos 1:13 “Remember the word which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, saying, ‘The Lord your God is giving you rest and is giving you this land.’ Which was flowing with milk and honey was a type of heaven Jos 5:6

So the "another day" of rest Joshua was speaking of was the land they were to take possession of which matches the Greek, nothing to do with the Sabbath or another Sabbath which does not exist in the Scriptures.

In verse 9 the rest in this verse is about the Sabbath

sabbatismos: Sabbath rest
Original Word: σαββατισμός
Part of Speech: Noun, Masculine
Transliteration: sabbatismos
Pronunciation: sab-bat-is-mos'
Phonetic Spelling: (sab-bat-is-mos')
Definition: Sabbath rest
Meaning:
a keeping of the Sabbath, a Sabbath rest.

There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God;

The Sabbath rest
or keeping of the Sabbath remains for God's people which harmonizes with God's own Testimony, I will not alter My words Psa 89:34 not a jot or tittle can pass Mat 5:18

And if we go to the next verse we see these two rests coming together

Heb 4:10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also (which means in addition) ceased from his works as God did from His.

When did God cease from His works, this very passage tells us

Heb 4:4 For
He has spoken (Exo 20:1) in a certain place (Mt Sinai) of the seventh day Exo 20:10 in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”; Exo 20:11

To enter His rest one also ceases from their works on the seventh day because the Sabbath rest which God said is the seventh day, the day He rested remains for God's people.

In Christ rest, there is no rebellion to Him or His commandments, including the Sabbath commandment Isa 48:18 no one receives Christ rest by being in rebellion to Him, hence why if we hear His voice today, He is calling us out of rebellion today, just as He did in the trial of the wilderness Heb 3:7-8 before its too late. Rev 22:11

I believe the Scriptures as my path to guide me Psa 119:105 . I do not deny Scripture, I deny the edited versions of it Pro 3:5-6 Pro 30:5-6 and trust God keeps His promises Psa 89:34 Mat 5:18-19

Still it does remove the fact that GOD said the ten commandments are the covenant,

Still? Right He was not finished speaking the Covenant. But I understand why and where you are coming from.
the ten commandments....the basis for all the laws that were given

Where did you get that from.
,also do not forget that gentiles are not israelites. and the apostles in Acts gave the gentiles only 4 commands from the law if Moses as it would have been a burden otherwise, for them at that time.
That is a misconception. In your line of reasoning then it is ok to steal, bare false witness, covet and what not. You need to consider verse 21 and the reason why it starts with the word for. The word for as you know when used means what is about to be said is the reason for what was said previously.

Acts 15:21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.

furthermore many of the commandments ordinances other than the 10 commandments cannot be followed today but I say this, all other command given by GOD to Moses could certainly be obeyed when applicable Yes!

The statutes and judgements pertaining to judgement in relation to sin were done away with. As were the festivals pertaining to Christ, like the Day of Atonement, Passover and what not. Plus the statutes pertaining to the way we dress and look were fulfilled since we who are baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

But other than this, I am not sure what you mean by we can't follow.
What is certain is the ten commandments are the covenant and will never change see in the book of revelations where the ark of the covenant was seen in Heaven.

Blessings.
Never said they changed. All that is being said is that God was not done speaking. That covenant is much broader. This is shown by God speaking the New Covenant in Deut. 29:1- 30:10-14 by His use of the Phrase "the word in our hearts and mouths" in relation to keeping God's commandments and statutes contained in the Book of the Law. And His use of the word Law in Jeremiah 31:31. Never is the word commandments in respect to just the Ten said in relation to what is placed in us in the New Covenant. Hence why Ezekiel said we are given a new Spirit, God's. That will cause us to walk in His statutes and judgements.

So, with that one must ask, why tables of stone? Was it because of the stony hearts that refused to hear our Father?

This is just a sidebar post.

Something I saw while reading the thread:

God wrote the Ten Commandments with His finger, on stone not hewn by man, but Moses broke them and so He had Moses get the second stone tables for Him to write the commandments on yet again, reiterating the Ten.

Exodus 24:10 And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.
Exodus 24:12 And the Lord said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.
Exodus 31:18 And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.
Exodus 32:16 And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables.
Exodus 34:1 And the Lord said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest.

In Exodus 20, the second commandment tells us not to make graven images and worship them.

Exodus 20:4-6 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Strong's H6459 graven image: peçel, peh'-sel; from H6458; an idol:—carved (graven) image.

After speaking the Ten Commandments God gave specific instruction not to hew an altar out of stone.

Exodus 20:25 And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.

hewn: chop or cut (something, especially wood or coal) with an axe, pick, or other tool.

What God has created (the original tables of stone, the natural stone not hewn) is His. The second tables were commanded of Him to Moses to hew, thus, officially commanded by God and signified by His finger a second time. What God has commanded and written on stone with His own finger, no man has authority to think to change.

Like the second commandment warning against graven images (hewing stone and worshiping it as an idol), God forbade the hewing of an altar of stone so that it would not become an idol, polluting it. Likewise, when man inserts his own ideas concerning the law of God, hewing it into his own image, he has polluted it. Indeed it even becomes worshipful, and man will die (Revelation 21:8) on his own hewn altar of idols. Have we not been warned against changing the commandments of God? (Deuteronomy 4:2, Matthew 5:19, Revelation 22:18-20)

In Daniel 2 we find that a stone cut without hands (Jesus) destroys a great image (made by man), becoming a great mountain (the kingdom of God) that fills the whole earth. Images made by man will not stand.

Look back to Exodus 20:6 (above)... God simply asks, "love me, and keep my commandments." This doesn't change in the New Testament. It is reiterated. John 14:15, John 14:21, 1 John 5:3, 2 John 1:6, Revelation 14:12, et al.

where would that be?

scripture, look at the laws added other then the 10 commandments and try to link them with the original 10 Commandments and see, te hey are linked to one 2 or sometimes more commandments.

I should Hvve sprcifoed apart from the ten commandments, of course the ten Commandments thet were teaching, it is the opening post!
Acts 15:21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.
I agree here but I always wondered who was teaching and what they were teaching. if you could help me with this. I know what the 11 reining original disciples were teaching as christ asked them to but what about the others?

you raise good questions about the law of Moses other then the ten commandments, I do believe that the laws added to the ten commandments that could be applicable today should be followed, the more I read the bible the more I realize it should be so. I have not made a list of what laws that would be exactly but it would be interesting to have an in depth look. many of the law of Moses were tailored for the israelites of that time but some are timeless.

As for the table of stone it indicate permanence and the utmost importance of the ten commandments the core of the law.

thank you for the excellent post, I always wondered about the altar of stone and why God ordered them not to cut them with tools, well now I know!

Blessings.

I can't take credit for it. It was impressed upon me as I read the thread. Minor booboo corrected also. I meant to quote John 14:15 at the end, not 1 John 3:4, but it still was on sin and the law, so I guess it would've been okay if I had not noticed it.

God bless!

Addendum to my previous post...

According to Revelation, the image of the beast is central to worship of the beast.

The earth beast exercises all the power of the sea beast and causes all to worship the beast and his image.

Revelation 13:14-17 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
  • The image of the beast both speaks and causes...
    • That no man might buy or sell, save he had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
    • That as many as would not worship the image should be killed.
What is the speaking of the image? And what kind of speaking can cause the restricting of buying and selling, and ultimately a death decree? Legislative power—law. Law that forces worship, and is clearly in opposition to the law of God.

Revelation magnifies God's law in showing that the earth beast, in exercising the power of the sea beast (the dragon having given him his seat and great authority; Revelation 13:2), will cause all the world to worship the beast and his image. It shows that God's law concerning worship, the first four commandments, is/are not only relevant, but paramount, as the beast has a counterfeit:

GodCounterfeit
Have no other GodsWorship the beast
Make no graven imagesWorship the image of the beast
Do not take the Lord's name in vain; emptiness, vanity, falsehood; of speech, lying; worthlessness (of conduct)Lukewarmness and lawlessness
Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holyA day of worship not found in scripture whatsoever, made sacred not by God, but by tradition

The law is front and center. And no matter whether you believe it happened in the past or will happen in the future, the overall lesson still applies concerning the law of God.

Revelation 22:18-20 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

Sure He did, If you love Me, keep My commandments John 14:15 the Sabbath is a commandment of God, Jesus is God. He said If we keep His commandments, we remain in His love, just as He kept His Fathers commandments John 15:10, Jesus always led by example. Jesus kept the Sabbath commandment and is our example to follow in all ways. 1 John 2:6. Doesn't make sense if we are keep 9 of the Ten Commandments but can forget the only commandment God said to Remember. We have to have room for faith.
And as I’ve demonstrated over and over and over and you repeatedly ignore it, God gave a lot more than just 10 commandments and Jesus kept ALL of them. So you don’t actually follow His example because you don’t keep every commandment in the Mosaic law like He did. You just keep on ignoring this fact no matter how many times I present it.
