What video and eyewitness accounts tell us about Gazans killed at aid drop

Dr Mohamed Salha, interim hospital manager at al-Awda hospital, where many of the dead and injured were taken, told the BBC: "Al-Awda hospital received around 176 injured people...142 of these cases are bullet injuries and the rest are from the stampede and broken limbs in the upper and lower body parts."
There were two incidents. One was Palestinian looters (it appeared to be mostly young males) trying to grab humanitarian goods from the trucks. Israel fired warning shots in the air. In another incident Palestinians rushed Israeli troops and a number were shot.

Israel must act wisely as key moment arrives

In its Gaza war, Israel needs a decisive, unambiguous, and indisputable victory. The October 7 deterrence will not be restored if the narrative emerges that Israel had not achieved its goals despite being subjected to the atrocities of Oct. 7 and after so many troops were deployed for this operation. If that narrative were to emerge, it would face an existential threat, its enemies would feel even more inclined to attack, and its diplomatic stature would suffer a lethal blow. Regional and international players – enemies, friends, and neutral actors – are keeping a watchful eye on developments. Their stance and conduct towards Israel will be affected by Gaza's results. While not the sole reason, this makes it all the more evident Israel has no alternative but to pursue the war's goals until they are fully met.

I agree. Israel is a tiny country surrounded by many countries that contain jihadists, and weakness could doom their country.

CNN has a story on testimony presented to the UN and other orgs about "rape and sexual violence inflicted by Hamas". It comes with an editors' note warning about the graphic nature of the contents.

UN team finds ‘convincing’ information that hostages in Gaza were raped

--

U.N. report finds ‘reasonable grounds’ to believe victims were sexually assaulted Oct. 7

A team of United Nations experts tasked with gathering information on sexual violence linked to Hamas’s Oct. 7 attacks on Israel found “reasonable grounds to believe” that victims were sexually assaulted at “multiple locations” that day, including rape and gang rape, in at least three locations, including the Nova music festival site, Road 232 and Kibbutz Reim.

“In most of these incidents, victims first subjected to rape were then killed,” a press release announcing the report’s findings said.

The team also found “clear and convincing information” that some hostages were subjected to “rape and sexualized torture and sexualized cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment,” the report said.

The report determined that at least two alleged instances of sexual violence reported in the media were unfounded, including the “graphically publicized case of a pregnant woman whose womb had reportedly been torn open.”

The report said it also must be noted that some witnesses and sources “adopted over time an increasingly cautious and circumspect approach regarding past accounts,” including in some cases retracting previous statements. Some told the team they “no longer felt confident in their recollections of other assertions that had appeared in the media.”

A wake-up call for those who don't believe in Satan.

Indeed, to slaughter over a thousand innocents, the elderly, babies. Evil gains a foothold and look at the results.
Tens of thousands of people shot dead in the streets begging for food - because they are starving to death.

Biden: Gaza Cease-Fire Up to Hamas

Harris hosted talks at the White House with Israeli war Cabinet member Benny Gantz where she also condemned the October 7 Hamas terror attack and the taking of hostages, including American citizens.“Israel has a right to defend itself. Far too many Palestinian civilians — innocent civilians have been killed. We need to get more aid in. We need to get the hostages out,” Harris said before the talks, summarizing the Biden administration’s position on the conflict.

Yes, I do. It started right after the massacre, Palestinians were dancing and Israel was painted as the oppressor.
Propaganda - thanks for the example.

Perhaps a few people would find this interesting and helpful (though not a quick read).

The Hundred Years War on Palestine - A History of Settler Colonial Conquest and Resistance

The work is well-researched, well-documented and has lots of end notes and formal references to back up all that he says.

The oppressed and the oppressor, the current push by progressives in the United States to adopt a Marxist world view. The should leave and form their own countries. What happened a hundred or fifty years ago is no justification for genocide and a jihad, with Jews being the first to die and Christians soon after. The hatred that has been taught to young Palestinians, and the population is very young, needs to halt.

If you dont properly understand the history, then you may misunderstand the problem. There are many things contributing to the current issues and genocide either way is not an acceptable solution.

It is important to dehumanize those you intend to destroy.
That's very true. It is much easier on the psyche of the soldier to kill a 'thing' as opposed to a human being. All armies, including organizations such as Hezbollah and Hamas, practice that philosophy.

Because it presently rests at tens of thousands Gazans murdered.
I wonder how many of those are Hamas.....since the HAMAS ministry of health does not categorize the dead as civilian or terrorist.
