Technical skills, healthcare specialties, etc. What kind of specialized skills did they get that would start out with higher pay?
You could get a lot more bang for your buck if you adopted singer payer models.
If anyone wants to see the current situation of a large country with hundreds of millions of residents nevertheless unable to staff many essential jobs taken to a much more devastating level...Beneficiaries
It is currently proposed as 1,000 dollars per month to every citizen or resident in the US irrespective of other income or circumstances.
Considering that the german healthcare system is generally seen as relatively efficient (though certainly with room to improve), I am confused by its placement on this map.

It still shares the lowest rungs with the likes of USA, Russia and Brazil. I find that hard to believe.I do not know the exact reasons, the only source I found is this: Germany: health system review 2020
Maybe it has something to do with "Public Health, ambulatory care, hospital care and long-term care are very separate and organized differently in terms of planning, financing, and governance. This fragmentation presents challenges for health care in terms of coordination and continuity of care, quality of services for patients and efficiency in allocating resources."

Its highly probable that some transformation of the economy will go together with the universal income. The grocery where I shop is understaffed and the cashier told me it's because no one wants to work. She was absolutely weary doing extra shifts. Then my favorite Chinese fast-food closed because of lack of employees. Not to mention the more serious ramification - what the state gives, the state can take away . For any reason, at any time. I choose work and the freedom of self-sufficiency it brings.
Getting who to work? It's an interesting idea, however, there are more jobs than ever before, though maybe not in production. The current problem seems to be getting people to work, not lack of jobs.
Actually, the state has to follow the laws and ordinances it creates, so it can’t just take things away that it has committed to. Unlike private employers, which can fire you at any time. The grocery where I shop is understaffed and the cashier told me it's because no one wants to work. There are also plenty of examples here in the US of BullSh** Jobs.
When I enquired about Medicaid, the state agency referenced SSA 1902, among other documents, so that I could check my eligibility.
There is nothing quite like having a quick look at SSA1902 for a bit of insight into our welfare maze.
It is impossible for many applicants to get through some of these government documents, and wastes the time of welfare administrators, most of whom I'm sure have a lot of better things to do.
I always think of mothers in big SUVs arriving at the big school opposite, off loading their kids and zooming off to work in big offices, all to get enough money to pay for the SUVs, maybe, to juggle various responsibilities and just barely get by.
Maybe UBI would allow those mothers, and other people, just enough money to become full-time parents for a while. Then their whole family might benefit.
BS jobs do nothing for the country and nothing for those who do them.
That jumped out at me too.Considering that the german healthcare system is generally seen as relatively efficient (though certainly with room to improve), I am confused by its placement on this map.
I meant people who don't want to work, even though there are jobs available. Sorry, not quite sure what you are asking so my answer might seem too obvious.Getting who to work?
Those 4.9% slackers who are ballooning the unemployment rolls!Actually, the state has to follow the laws and ordinances it creates, so it can’t just take things away that it has committed to. Unlike private employers, which can fire you at any time.
These people have all gone back to work, as evidenced by the low unemployment numbers. There are nearly 400 million American citizens. Unemployment in the millions isn’t serious.
Tax money doesn’t go anywhere. Taxes are how US currency is destroyed. Money is printed to pay for government spending. I, for one, have no problem with federal spending going towards the general welfare, and neither did the founding fathers.
